In the "Damn Cool!" department, Dream Arcades (http://www.dreamarcades.com/) sends along word that they are hosting a contest where one lucky winner (http://www.dreamarcades.com/list/?p=subscribe&id=1) will walk away with an Arcade Table Kit. The Winner will be drawn on December 1, 2005.

Why is it that all of the competition links posted here are for US residents only? :(

because everyone else is a communist or a terrorist who would share this free technology with everyone else or use it to blow us up, respectively.

it looks like you have to sign up for their mailing list to enter... no thanks.

There is a checkbox for Newsletter and one for Contest. Just un-check the Newsletter box.

Bleh... I entered, but I didn't realize that they only had their tables up for the contest. I'd much rather have that nice upright cabinet.

You'd better not fucking win. If you do, I'm personally going to hire a hitman for fitbabits and yourself.

Alas, every country has it's own set of rules/laws regulating give-away contests such as this one, some of which are contradictory to the rules/laws of other countries. Since it is virtually impossible for companies to be able to abide by the laws of all countries, they limit themselves to just the USA.
