Koei Europe announced that it is bringing the Dynasty Warriors series to the PC. Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper will see the spectacular massed battles that the Dynasty Warriors games are famed for brought to a whole new audience. No word yet whether Koei North America will follow suit...

Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper will also offer players a much more striking visual experience by taking advantage of the PC's higher screen resolution to offer twice as many on screen characters, double the draw distance of previous versions, anti aliasing, texture filtering, dynamic shadows and much improved enemy AI. From the classic Musou Mode to the vast range of special attacks, powerful weapons and lethal bodyguards, PC gamers will be getting the definitive Dynasty Warriors package.

Hyper? God now they're making it obvious they're just doing what Capcom has done for years.

And why 4? No one liked 4.

I love Dynasty Warriors. Console coop in this game is a blast.

This is so NOT a PC game.

Decent console game though.

I agree, this would suck on PC...

This could be amazing if they upped the strategic element and added a solid multiplayer component. Here's hoping it turns out good.

I felt DW4 was the much like 2 and 3, except that it had more. DW5 was neat for awhile and then I noticed that it was actually kind of neutered. The graphics were even nicer, but that just led to the obvious problem with the visuals in this game increasing. I could see maybe eight guys around me that weren't my bodyguards and very often my intended target was missing, for example, a guy with name. I could really care less about those nameless fodder surrounding my target. Why couldn't they have a prioritizing system for who drops off my screen? OR how about playing this game on something that doesn't have these problems?

Yes, I would play this on PC because I like the series enough to try it on a system that could really help with the obvious problem of "number on screen."

Exactly the reason I'd actually consider it for my PC. My rig is a lot heftier than a PS2; if I can actually have epic numbers of enemies on my screen and have them -stay there- it'd be really awesome to lay into them. Guan Yu versus the invisible horde isn't any fun.
