Earth 2160 is an RTS game based on the popular and successful EARTH series, which in addition to standard features such as resource acquisition, base building and destruction of enemy bases, allows players to customize buildings and units through modular construction, as well as detailed customization of vehicles.

Zuxxez has released a singleplayer demo allowing you to try out 2 missions, one from the ED campaign and one from the LC campaign. There is a timer of 45 minutes during each mission on the demo, which of course is not in the retail version.

You can grab the Earth 2160 demo (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=29254) (350mb) over at WorthPlaying.

Nevermind.

Am I to take it this is a 'nevermind' game? Or did you just edit your post from a previous comment? ;)

Umm I played 2150 way back when

and it was super great with the tech tree and customization.
Finally a game where it wasn't about reaching the end of the tech tree first.
Graphics were decent.

If 2160 is an extention this game is definetly worthplaying.

2150 was a great game. I'll have to play it again sometime.

Not really interested in this though. No RTS games really grab me these days - none of them do anything really new or unique.

for me the game speed seemed sloooooooow. good graphics, dull battles/gameplay.
