XBox.com has a new article introducing the Live interface and how it will also integrate with the web (http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/features-gamercards.htm).

My Xbox is a seamless integration between Xbox 360, Xbox LiveŽ, and Xbox.com. It reflects the friends you add, achievements you earn, and games you play on Xbox.com in real time. You'll be able to compare your achievements with any other Xbox Live member just by logging in to My Xbox on Xbox.com. (Remember, achievements are new and can only be earned by playing Xbox 360 games.)
Now they need some kind of open API so people can develop other cool integration stuff.

Editor's Note: IGN (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/659/659789p1.html) has some detailed coverage on the features of this.

I really love the web integration stuff of the current generation (Halo 2, NFL2k5, etc), I hope they really take this too the next level.

Reminds me of battlenet. Hard to go wrong having internet integration for a gaming network.

Actually reading through that Xbox.com article was painful. They sound as tool-ish as tool-ish could possibly be. Cool stuff, though.

The features sound cool, but RandomViolence is right when he says that they sound like a bunch of utter tools in that article. Ugh. Its like an old video from the 50's.

You mean I should cower under my desk when the big one hits? That's NEAT!

If this stuff is accessible from a non-ActiveX browser (as in, something not named Internet Explorer), then I will care.
