In other exciting new release news, Microsoft and Ensemble Studios send along word that Age of Empires III is now available on store shelves.
Form line and prepare for battle! Age of Empires III, the stunning real-time strategy game from Microsoft and Ensemble Studios, is now available in North America in two versions: standard and Collector’s Edition. Age of Empires III raises the bar for strategy games with unprecedented graphic detail, incredible new features like the Home City and more realistic destruction with real-time physics modeling. The game’s huge single-player campaign spans several historical generations and exposes players to many of the game’s 12 Native American tribes. Reviewers around the world have hailed Age of Empires III as a new benchmark in strategy games.
The standard version of Age of Empires III is now in stores at a suggested retail price of $49.99 (U.S.). The Collector’s Edition, available from larger retailers, includes an impressive hardbound 210-page “The Art of Empires” book, a “Making of Age of Empires III” DVD, the official Age of Empires III soundtrack, a huge full-color poster, an exclusive Player’s Guide and a Collector’s Edition Game Manual. The Collector’s Edition is available for a suggested retail price of $69.99 (U.S.).

I suck also but its a beautiful game. I'm glad to see the patch takes care of all the issues I had with the demo (which weren't many). :)
Going back to kill more Turks.

I'm really enjoying it, I've been a huge fan since AOE2. My only gripe is the seemingly insanely horriable cannon AI.

Does it fix the out-of-sync cutscenes? I don't recall it being specifically mentioned in the list of things fixed.
Im sick of hearing about this game.

Ok heres how it works. Everything is based on your "Home City" for every level your home city has you get a card and a customization. You gain levels by collecting xp, you get xp from doing just about everything, rescearching techs, killing things, making units, even just existing adds some xp to your thingy per second. Inbetween scenairos, you get to pick new cards and such.

Not officially...If you try to install it via the disc's autostart, it won't let you install it. But there is away around it (http://aoe3.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/forums/display.cgi?action=st&fn=1&tn=23485&st=129#post130).
