It seems Electronic Arts is not going to take no for an answer from Take Two on take over talks. Confidential talks (Shacknews.com) were "leaked" via Shacknews (Shacknews.com):
After months of back and forth, publishers Take-Two and Electronic Arts are now holding private meetings on the subject of a possible acquisition, according to EA.
The fresh round of dialogue indicates the two companies may now be working toward a transaction that satisfies both parties.
Is anyone really surprised EA is still working on a deal for Take Two?

With the direction EA is heading I don't think this would be a bad thing for Take Two but I honestly don't care either way.

To EA?
No means yes.

I pray to the gods of gaming that this doesn't happen, I don't want to live in a world where I'm expected to pay extra for a new shirt for Niko

I was against this, but with EA new direction...I'm all for it. I think it would be better if they negotiated a partnership at first though. Then a buyout if the relationship works.

And when he does step down, whenever that is, it won't take much for them to go down the Activision road. Too risky, sir. :(

The solely reason I don't want this to happen is because that would most likely mean the end of Rockstar games on Steam :(

Take 2 sold the Horse Armor. Not EA.
So either way, you are in that world.

Sadly, the FTC can see nothing wrong in EA buying out taking over Take Two. I'm not against this move per se, but because I do find that gamers need more choices. than just to buy EA games.
