Oh Monday, how I loathe thee. The cycle repeats. What did you guys play the last couple of days? Swung your way through BC: Rearmed? Found all of Braid's puzzle pieces? Jumped your way through Quest for Booty/ tell us all about it right here.
I never play online, well hardly. But this weekend got me hooked on SC4 online ranked matches. Also some Bionic Commando, game is rockhard even on medium.

Lots of Too Human, still haven't had a co-op game yet. Tried some quick matches but it was always some insane child with Tourettes on Speed begging me to trade them items.
World of Warcraft(Live) and a few hours of WotLK Beta.
And FantasticContraption.com.

Got in some CoD4, and played a lot of demos. Braid, Geometry Wars 2, and SW: TFU. Will be picking up Braid today I think.

Pretty much WoW weekend with some Harvest Moon Magic melody thrown in.

Loads of MGS4, with a little bit of Quest for Booty, Pixel Junk Monsters, and STALKER sprinkled in there. Aside from a few minor gripes (no HD cables, WTF?), I'm really liking the PS3 so far.
Like planned it was poker, a bit of world of warcraft (really close to my epic crowform now) and some pen & paper rpg.
Also the weather was really good so I did manage to spend a few hours practicing on my motorcycle, man it’s awesome to drive around. I really can't wait until next spring when I intend to get my drivers license!

Played Too Human all weekend. Have my Bio-Engineer up to level 38 now. Good items are few and far between at this point. But am really enjoying the game although it can be frustrating at times.

Warhammer Online Preview Weekend pretty much consumed me. September cannot come fast enough! I know I've got 5-10 other games I'm looking forward to this Fall, but it'll be tough to top the enjoyment I've been having with WAR.
I played both the Star Wars:TFU and Braid demos and GRID.
I bought a new hybrid bike and logged 25+ miles since the weather was awesome. Needless to say I am a little sore this morning.

I am obsessed with The Witcher.
What a great game. Haven't been hooked on a PC rpg like this in a long while.

FFXI (so close to 74 BST it's painful), Crush (loving the game again), and some Driver (for some reason). Not enough of any of it, though.

Tried to download the Force Unleashed demo, but I'm just a lowly silver member. Since, I don't play games online, I can't justify a monthly fee for games I already payed for. So I guess that means I have to wait? I'm not sure about the logic, here. I buy pleanty of marketplace games.
So I played Psychonauts.

I managed to get in a little bit of Bully before heading out of town, otherwise nothing. Who knew going to class might actually have been fun?

Started a game of Civilization Revolution again as the Japanese on Deity, but haven't been able to finish it, yet.
On Sunday, I took my girlfriend to see Death Race (we enjoyed it for what it was) and then to lunch at our favorite restaurant to celebrate our 1-year anniversary. That night, we cracked open the Heroes Season 1 HD-DVD pack (have had it for nearly a year, even though neither one of us has seen a single episode of Heroes) and watched the first four episodes. Now she's mad at me for getting her hooked on another show. I wouldn't be surprised if she buys Heroes Season 2 on Blu-Ray tomorrow!

Well, what a weekend.
My weekend:
Super Mario Galaxy [Wii]: Only a couple of planets in, but reminds me a little too much of Mario Sunshine...that feeling will probably pass. It was funny watching my girlfriend play and watch her tilt her head as Mario ran sideways and upside down.
Zak & Wiki [Wii]: Wow, what a gem. I'm enjoying it immensely so far and I'm only a few puzzles in. This is the type of game that the Wii is made for. My "most played" Wii game of the weekend.
TF2 [PC]: Same old same old. Some games I really sucked...some I was just a smidge better than sucking. I love a game that really puts me in my place...but it's still amazing how hard I keep trying to get better ;)
RB6: Vegas 2 [360]: More play time with my buddy on this one. We are a pretty efficient killing team. This game definitely needs some more maps and weapons or, at least, some more maps from RB6:V1 opened up for 2 (Wartown!).
PixelJunk Eden [PS3]: Love this game. Enough said. First 5 seeds found...and 1 trophy earned..first ever...yay?
NHL2k9 Demo [PS3]: Played this demo a few times. I really wanted to like it, but I just don't know. This seems weird to say about a 2k game, but it felt far too arcade-like. I'm definitely going to wait until the full release before passing too much judgement because I know there will be plenty of slider tweaking going on. "Big hits" just isn't a selling feature to me because all it means is that everyone can lay everyone else onto their backsides all the time.
Bionic Commando Rearmed Demo [PS3]: I enjoyed the original...it being one of the few NES games I finished, but I just couldn't get into this game now. Probably overplayed it as a child.
...and, lest I forget...more Dwarf Fortress [PC] :)

I ended up playing the FTP/PTP MMO Requiem (http://www.playrequiem.com/Index.aspx). I had seen it on an ad banner here at EvAv and bookmarked it a while back. The evil grinding gods came a calling on Friday night and once again I followed like Pavlov's dog at feeding time (insert Godfather quote here).
If you go the FTP (free to play) route you'll end up finishing the quests before you're ready for higher level ones. This leaves you grinding early on. That works great if you're more of a grind 'em out type player than a quest runner. If you don't like heavy grinding the xp and item drop bumps from the $15 premium package will keep you moving along.
The game is more steam punk with blood than horror. It has all the usual stuff like mail, auction hall, flight paths, standard MMO classes and gold farmers. The chat system is bare bones though.

I seemed to be suffering from narcolepsy this weekend as I'd start to game and invariably find myself nodding off in the chair, giant explosions and demon gibs be damned.
That said, I did plunk a few hours into a few games.
I picked up Penumbra: Black Plague for cheap on the weekend and shortly after installing it, I decided to throw a few bucks to the developers and snagged Penumbra: Overture. Alas, I need to do some tweaking as it's just sluggy enough on my computer to drive me insane.
Too Human got a lot of play for most of the weekend, though I couldn't get the co-op to work when I tried with Trackzero the other day. I need to look at my NAT settings.
I took a break from Too Human last night to work on Persona 3:FES. I never got very far in the original incarnation of P3 so it's been fun to restart the game and have a better idea of how the mechanics work. Again, like Too Human, I wasn't getting around to P3 until late at night and would find myself nodding off despite being very interested in the game. I'm hoping to spend some time earlier in the evening tonight playing the game.
I also fired up PJ: Eden for a wee bit, though that was more to fill time than anything. The Last Guy demo was awesome and I can't wait for the real thing this week.
Oh, I spent more time than I'd hoped playing Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 and Trauma Center 2 this weekend, but that's because they're both great games. TC2 is especially nice as it's hard but nowhere near the stylus-shattering difficulty of the original.

I finished Half Life 2 yesterday for the first time. I got it on the Orange Box when it came out, and while it is quite a great game - there were parts that were just boring so I stalled on getting back into it every time. The most enjoyable parts for me were when you were tasked with making crazy jumps and walking along really narrow platforms. They really captured the tension of being very high in the air - Mirror's Edge 0.5 in a way...
I'm also still slogging my way through Zelda Oracle of Seasons. I'm in the
7th Dungeon - I plan to play the linked game of Oracle of Ages once I'm done with this one.

Too Human - that's about it. I played my Champion to 24, then tried out a Guardian and get him to about 14. I think I'll go back to my Champion, but I'm going to respec some of his skills.

Tried to download the Force Unleashed demo, but I'm just a lowly silver member.
Same thing happened to me, then I downloaded it on PSN instead. I have a 13-month XBL card ready to go, but I'm saving it until I want to play some on-line multiplayer. I can't believe there are Gold-only demos when the same damn thing is on PSN for free.

You should try to play with someone from EvAv. I've avoided custom games so far.

Well, I got my 360's casket in on Friday, and sent that out today. I played WAR for most of Friday and Saturday, and found it quite fun for a beta. However, I decided on Sunday to go back to WoW, and have been paying that since then.

Lets see...
On the ps3, got around to beating Bionic Commando: Reamred. (Awesome Head Exploding animation! Now I see why it got a M for Blood and Guts rating.) :D
Also played some TF2 and Dota and Beyond Good and Evil on the computer.
And threw int a bit of Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 on the psp when I couldn't play on a console or computer.

Swat 4 Co-op with my brothers. It was very fun using the pepper gun then tasering them :). Some were too stubborn so we had to take them down without question.
Played some RA3 beta and Company Of Heroes ofcourse.

I played some Enchanted Arms, it's ok. Nothing too great. Are you very far in EA? I need to get back to it at some point as I did enjoy the game for what it was. It's not high art but it's not a bad first effort as far as next-gen JRPGs go.

Blah. I really really didn't like it. And I'm quite the sucker for JRPG's/SRPG's. It all just felt so lame compared what was already out on PS2 and such. Terrible characters.
Got to play the sneak preview of Warhammer Online. Great fun!
Also played Bad Company on X360 and Alone in the Dark4. (AitD4? Horrible camera).

But did you get very far?
Yeah, in comparison to the better things on the PS2 and even Lost Odyssey, it's barely worth any time. But I put a fair chunk of time into it and after the initial part of the game, it got interesting, if nothing else.
I'd just like to see how the rest of the story and gameworld played out but I'm in no rush.

Ah, I see EvAvNovice has fallen to the siren's call of RezHD.
Oh yes. Ever since I caught up with a few XBLA titles I missed, I downloaded the trial version and immediately dropped the cash for this. While it's simplistic, in that you basically lock-on Panzer Dragoon style and fire at enemies, my god....the music and visuals are just trippy. http://www.mazeguy.net/happy/cloud9.gif
I do wish that I had gotten this first instead of Every Extend Extra Extreme. I find myself playing Rez HD a whole lot more between the two.

I played the Force: Unleashed demo a few times. Tried to get somewhere int he tower of lost souls in Soul Calibur 4.
Got back into Crackdown and took down a few bosses. Looked in desperation for that last goddamn orb then gave up. I tried to put some time into GTA4 almost right after Crackdown, loaded up the game then just turned it off. It just can't hold a candle to the wacky, over the top cartoony antics and general tomfoolery of throwing buses at people.

I got to finish Uncharted. What a game. I have some issues with some of the "checkpoints" or should I call them "re do points when you die and where you are placed". Plus the AI aiming ability or it's extraordinary aiming ability at times to kill me almost at will. Also, why is was it most of the guns weather it be a pistol or some automatic something all took 5 or 6 bullets to kill someone? Shouldn't having a bigger and more powerful gun mean a couple of chest shots the enemy should die? Just asking... Despite those few irritations...the game was a lot of fun...a very nice blend of action and platforming. And the last "boss" battle was certainly interesting... A must play if you have a PS3 or plan on getting one.
Learned how to "play" Viva Pinata...or how to actually lure some of the damn pinata's into my garden. It's a fun game and all but...I think it would of went a long way of being more accessible like Animal Crossing...
The never ending quest with Etrian Odyssey II continues...I might be able to finish this sometime near xmas the way i'm going...
No playing time for Civ Rev, Crackdown or Silent Hill: Origins

I do wish that I had gotten this first instead of Every Extend Extra Extreme. I find myself playing Rez HD a whole lot more between the two.I played Rez to death on the PS2, so while I love the HD version, I don't feel the urge to sink a pile of time into it as I did that years ago.
They're both great games though. I have been firing up E4 a bit recently just to chill out. For an ostensibly frenetic game, it's very relaxing.
