NHL 09 Demo on PSN

What's this? Back to back hockey news? Back to back sports game news? Not to be outdone by Take 2 - the demo for NHL 09 from EA Sports will hit the PlayStation Network later today with a 360 demo to follow early next month.

Let the competition begin!

Update: Apparently this isn't going to make it in the update today, you'll have to wait until next Thursday.

It's also on the Xbox 360. . . it just isn't as interesting as the Force Unleashed Demo (at least to me). But it's there. I saw it when I was getting Force Unleashed.

Yeah, it's 2 different games. Dunno why they'd delay the 360 demo, maybe it's just something with hockey games (the 2k one was on the PSN last week).

I'm guessing NHL 09 demo didn't pass xbox cert right away or something. Or perhaps its because the other hokey demo was released today. I think someone who owns both a 360 and a ps3 should download both these demos tonight and tell us which is better.

Well I can get my feet wet with it until the release date in September. The NHL2k demo also got released on PSN much earlier then 360.

Anyways off to play another demo on my ps3.

I'd assume with the rest of the regular Thursday update. Those usually drop anywhere between 6-7 EST.

The PS3 demo is delayed as well. The news is gone from EA site and then there's this: http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread.jspa?threadID=417928&tstart=0. Something is going on, but who knows what?

Just play last year's version and imagine that it looks 5% better. ;)
