I hope this game is good, it looks like it will be alot of fun, just make the guns better then the ones in Vampire, seriously i love the game but unless you put all your points into firearms and dex you will never hit the broadside of a barn.

I take it from your post that flagship studios is composed of trokia refugees... I thought they mostly went to obsidian?

Played it some last night at a Namco event. Unless the development goes REALLY south, this game WILL be good, no question about it.

Nah, just vampire had first person combat based on RPG elements, and it was near impossible to hit stuff unless you put alot of points into the firearm and dex skills this is also a RPG so i have similar concerns.

Flagship, iirc, is mostly ex-Blizzard employees. Or at least the heads.

Vampire had a completely worthless firearms system. Even with maxed firearms skill they were worthless. They just did hardly any damage, even to humans.

Sometimes i had the shotgun working for me, and their have been patchs, so i haven't really tried the firearms again. I'm doing another Melee character just because i had so much fun with the Brujah last time. I'm thinking about doing a nosforatu, so i can be either a stealthly ugly fucker, OR, a convorsational mastermind who is fugly! OR A FUGLY STEALHY CONVERSATIONAL MASTERMIND! MY GOD!!!!

I could hit stuff pretty easily in Vampire, without putting many points in. Just didn't do any damage to it.

This game's not going to be like that, though. It's basically Diablo from a first-person perspective with a different setting, from what I can see, and I am so so so going to buy it day one.

Lets talk about load times.

I've been following this game for a while, its looking pretty sweet. Love how when you add stuff to the guns it ends up changing the way they look, not to mention random levels and co-op.

The load times in Vampire are what killed the game for me. Minute load times every time I want to enter a different building/area(which happens quite frequently) are a huge turn off from me.

Troika = Some Black Isle members who worked on Fallout
Obsidian = More Black Isle members
Flagship = See someones post above with regards to the guys who were from Blizzard (North).

The more of the game I see the less I want it. I'll try it before I come to a final judgement though.
