Secret DOA4 Bungie Character Revealed!

I think its an interesting choice, and one that oddly fits the DOA theme.

There’s no bouncy there, she’s in full body armor. Totally badass, but didn’t she get killed by an elite in the book? Ah who cares, looks great.

I hope her moves will be absurdly brutal, since in the fiction they’re insanely strong and well trained in military marshal arts, not some pansy dance-like stuff. And I also hope that she’s not just an outfit for Lei Fang or something.

Yeah, if i remember correctly kelly was really fast and one of the teams snipers. Man those were awesome books, ESPECIALLY Fall Of Reach, loved that book.

The second scan refers to the character as "Spartan-458." A quick check of HBO shows there were onlt 150 original Spartan candidates (link (http://halosm.bungie.org/story/spartanroster.html)).

So who ever that chick is she isn't one of the Spatans from the books. She is from at least the second wave of Spartan IIs (Spartan IIIs?).

If you have read any of the books, then you know that the Spartans in their armor are way more powerful than humans. The games should not have them in their armor. They should easily be able to kill any DOA character. I hope at the very least, that you have to unlock their armor 'costume' through insane tasks.

DoA had a story? From what little I played of the series, it didn't seem like there was anything deeper than some ok cutscenes that had little to do with each other. Can't games just be fun anymore?

Also, there seems to be some confusion between Linda-058 and Kelly-087. Just thought I'd be an ubergeek and clear this up.

Kelly-087 is, apparently, the second-in-command of the Spartan IIs. She was never "dead". She was still on Reach or in orbit when the Pillar of Autumn left Reach toward Halo-04. She's not the sniper expert. I don't remember her physical description.

Linda-058 is the one who was clinically "dead" and onboard the Piller of Autumn when it left Reach. She was put into stasis and revived after returning to Reach through the miracles of flash cloning her damaged organs and a jolt of electricity. (If you played Halo 1 co-op, she's player 2, with the story alteration that there was a doctor on the ship capable of reviving her while you were still in hyperspace.) She is the sniper expert. She's got short red hair... Yummy. :)

There's a gap of some size in the events between First Strike (the third book) and Halo 2, and we still don't know what happens after Halo 2. There might be another book or it might jump straight into Halo 3.

Actually the armor is differently shaped. I think it's an interesting choice though, bonus characters are always just that to me, a bonus.

By your logic then how the hell is Ryu from Ninja Gaiden doing in a DOA game? He is also incredibly powerful. Hell he could fight massive demons.Jump all over the place and is very very strong also.

It just came to me. It seems Marvel is putting their cards in Activision and EA hands, so i doubt Capcom gets anymore play. Which is sad cause you think about it aside from the latest xmen, hulk and spidey the movie like games, Capcom had it going on. Sure Capcom got lazy and didn't like freak their 2d sprites out like they should have to compete with Guilty Gear. Now DC/Warner is putting all their characters movie wise atleast in EA's hands. Although THQ got Aquaman (whose really not that gay of a character if you think of him like the Superman of underwater) O_o whose to say other DC characters won't end up with a shitty, DC vs the Unperfects. ~_~

I know there was a crossover comic that both companies put together that never seemed to ring as major, but would a game be impossible or just improbable.
