Today's final installment of Hands on Impressions will be PGR3. Fear not fellow readers, tomorrow I'll have impressions of the rest of the games, I man only has so much time! So what did I think of this racing beauty?
So lets get it out of the way. PGR3 is beautiful. It's sexy. You'll want to take it out to dinner, buy it flowers and hope for a good night kiss with tongue. The textures and models are as close to photo-realistic as you can get without being it. The game pushes some serious polygons. The Brooklyn Bridge in the game is made of more polygons than an entire city in Project Gotham Racing 2. The motion blur effect is nicely done and really creates a good sense of speed. If the game was only running at 30FPS, I didn't notice it. Only once did I notice the frame rate slow down, ironically it was over the Brooklyn bridge with 6 other cars on the screen.

I had a lot of fun with this game, as I know a lot of people at the show did. We got to play quite a bit of multiplayer as well as split screen.

gad. this is a bit annoying. Two theads on the same topic. I don't mind for one for the over all preview and one for each game for a more focused topic, but why one on the man page and one over in the console forum?

because the console forum is the full preview while this is just the teaser. Don't want the front page clogged up with 3 page long articles.

Yea...... that NEVER happens here at EvilAvatar.
The smart thing would have posted the news story, then as soon as it was live, post your reply to it with the full bit.

As long as it's just that, and not that you're so lazy that clicking a link takes it right out of you, folks can probably find forgiveness in their hearts. Either way, of course, it takes being a curmudgeon to brand new heights...

You could copy and paste it if it really gets to you. Not sure what the Bap-ster would say.

no, my only complaint that there was two discussions on the same topic. A lot of repeat/double posts between the two.

It was ironic because they hyped the power to me off the system, said how great and amazing the brooklyn bridge is with it's polys, then it goes and slows down.
For all the complaints about the 2 sections, I think what I'll do is lock the newspost from replies so everyone can reply in the main thread.
