Have you ever seen other people's lush piñata gardens and drooled in envy? Well, as reported by Joystiq (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/16/viva-pinata-trouble-in-paradise-to-allow-four-player-co-op-gard/), in Viva Pinata 2 you'll be able to arrange your garden right alongside anyone you choose:

Word from Rare confirms that in addition to a slew of races and other contests, Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise will indeed feature a four player co-op mode over Xbox Live, in which three players can enter and "edit" the host's garden. Players will have access to all the tools afforded them in the single-player mode, meaning you can use your trusty multi-purpose shovel to wreak a path of destruction through a friend's garden, carving a scar into its well-tended landscape.

Or you could help them out, we guess.

An interesting addition to an already solid game. EvAv Gardening Nights, anyone?

Honestly I enjoyed Viva Pinata for some odd reason. I still don't know why I bought it.

However, my girlfriend is a viva pinata addict. If only she had someone to play online with...

Any other EvAvers want to volunteer their VP-addicted significant others? :-P

I've just rented Viva Pinata and wondering the same...why do I like this gaeme? But i'm addicted...and really loving it. I think it's a cool option in the next one to enjoy with others online...and yeah, most likely i'll be buying this copy of Viva Pinata.

Ms. Clause hasn't played this yet...I think she will like it since she loved Animal Crossing...i'd look for other EvAv online who are playing :)

And pedophiles across the world all cried out in joy at once.

Any word on local co-op? Ms. Mason is a piñataphile, and if I'm going to lose the TV for another six months, I might as well join in.

Yes, there's local co-op. That should speed up the opening phases where you have to soften up the dirt for the entire garden plot!

I had heard that this was going to come in at a slightly reduced price point (like 40 or 50) but I saw it as a preorder on Amazon at 60. Anyone heard anything about that?

The first one is awesome. I had never played it until a few weeks ago. My wife is an addict. She actually made a folder and a spreadsheet that details how to make all the different variants of species and how to turn some into a new species all together. I think I might have to post a pic of that madness. It is very well organized though. Anyways, the first time I played, I played four hours. I love the game. Can't wait until the second one releases.
