Was that the Quake rocketlauncher sound I heard in the trailer?

Anyway, I've heard of this game before, and I think I even downloaded the demo, but I never installed it. I might have to give it a whirl now.

This game actually looks pretty damn fun. I'd like to give it a try.

So is this officially tied to Tron?

So is this officially tied to Tron? As far as I can tell, no.

While the current demo has been taken down from the main site (tankuniversal.com (www.tankuniversal.com)), I was able to find a site that was still hosting an older version. The best way I can describe it is some unholy union of the newer Battlezone games, Darwinia and Tron. The main gameplay is the tank combat, but there is a light strategy element underneath it. I can't say how fleshed out it will be in the full version since the demo was just the training mission.

Anything Tron inspired will grab my attention enough to at least try the demo. Throw in words like "available on Steam for $10" and you're almost guaranteed an impulse purchase.

Er... bad teaser. Only 3 *boom* scenes (less than 1 second each).

I know more how the game will be from the description than the teaser, I mean, the teaser show nothing!! nada!! zero!!

Sounds like a cheap attempt to sell a BZ-Flag clone to me. Trailer's not too impressive either.

Isn't there a game much like this on 360 arcade? Yeah, its called battle zone. I was hoping for a decent tank game.

I got it, because I got a game for free with it :P

I'm hoping it controls like Battlezone (remember that awesome PC game where you fight space commies.) and I fucking loooooved Battlezone.
