A second patch (http://www.easports.com/games/nhl06/downloads.jsp) for the PC version of NHL 06 has been released by EA. (http://www.easports.com/) The patch addresses the following problems:

1) Issue with edited players saved within a game mode.
2) Compatibility for Saitek P2500 and P3000 controllers.
3) Compatibility for non-SSE chipsets such as the AMD Thunderbird.
* Also includes roster updates form patch #1.

A second patch! Surely EA Sports haven't realeased a 'finished' product onto the market with problems? I'm aghast!! :rolleyes:

Damn kiprusoff is sucking right now! but not as bad as the leafs 5th and 6th dman Mr aki berg and mr wade belak. could be 3-0-0 instead of 0-1-2 if it wasnt for those losers.

yeah, Luongo is the only goalie actually doing any good in the new NHL. I thought Allison was good but I watched a couple of leaf games and honestly I have no idea how he score 86 points or whatever back in the day.

Look on the bright side, at least you're better than Pittisburgh.

Also, along NHL06 notes. They really need to go back to NHL04 and just touch it up. That still is the best game, by far. The new "create a player face sliders" suck and make you look like the same ape no matter what you do.

They couldn't even release a working download for the patch, let alone a bug free game... There are so many obvious bugs in the game it is sickening. I feel sorry for anyone that got this for a console and can't patch it.
