Eurogamer has 3,000 City of Heroes free trial account to go around. (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=61183) That's 3 x 1 thousand accounts. Count them on your fingers!

Now, usually their giveaways are only open to European residents, but it doesn't seem to be the case this time. All you heroes need to do is enter your name along with a valid spam-mail address and you're good to go.

Closing date for this competition is October 21st

“Away with our begging, our pan-handling,
our trial account-asking vagrants yearning to fight evil robots and villians but not pay a monthly fee,
The stingy moocher of our bustling forums.
Enter these, the paltry, lerking nomads into the giveaway,
I holler my fairwells at the sight of the vacating horde!”

From your pal, Liquidize105 q:)

-ps No I do not have a trial account of CoH!

This is a recent event spoof, a reversal inspired by Emma Lazarus’s The New Colossus.

I signed up first, then checked the comments ;)

I guess if it's going through 10/21, they'll get about a billion applications....

Perigon will be happy.

I love the poem, and out of respect for the creativity and skill displayed, refrain from nazi-like comments.

Nazi-like? You're a dork :D

I used The New Colossus as the template, it's a spoof.

14 day free trial.

This is to offset the 10,000 that quit over the Enhancement Diversification nerf that follows on the heels of the I5 mass nerf.

I guess if you never played it could be some decent fun.
But after your character is made 1/3 as powerful, as well 1/2 as durable,
and then they say sorry you are still too powerful, -25% to your most powerful abilities,
well, it kinda makes you wonder why you are treadmilling to try to level your character when he only gets weaker.

No thanks, and no thanks to the nerfadelica that will be COV as well. And shame on Statesman for gutting the casual fun that COH offered. If I wanted to struggle I would have played WOW which is apparently way more fun.
