Issue 162 (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/features/issue/162) of the online Escapist Magazine is now available. Featuring:
Rob Zacny: Multiple Personality Disorders (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/issues/issue_162/5129-Multiple-Personality-Disorders)
Our self-contradictions become more obvious as gaming matures and absorbs more people into the fold. The ubiquity of intolerant language and belligerent behavior raises troubling questions about what truly lies behind the mask of online identity.

Howard Wen: When Worlds Collide (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/issues/issue_162/5130-When-Worlds-Collide)
One of the experiments of the AR Second Life project at Georgia Tech brings avatars out of the virtual world of Second Life and into the real world to interact with real people. Imagine wearing a head-mounted display and checking out that sexy avatar you've had your eye on standing right in front of you in life-sized form.

Jordan Deam: Politics in a Vacuum (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/issues/issue_162/5131-Politics-in-a-Vacuum)
Jordan Deam explores CCP's and EVE Online's groundbreaking Council of Stellar Management with an inside look at the Council's first annual CSM Summit in Iceland.

Spanner: Too Much Information (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/issues/issue_162/5132-Too-Much-Information)
Tomb Raider represented a new style of gaming, and helped cement the 3-D revolution in home consoles. Consumers needed a mental anchor to connect us to this new form of gaming. Instead, we got two.

Shamus Young: Stolen Pixels (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/comics/stolen-pixels/5124-Stolen-Pixels-11-Finally)
Check out Stolen Pixels, The Escapist's new twice-weekly comic by DM of the Rings and Chainmail Bikini creator, Shamus Young. Twice a week, Shamus shares his pointed thoughts on our favorite games, only on The Escapist!

Back from the dead?

You used to these posts about 100 issues ago. Why'd you stop? Why'd you start back up?

I stopped reading because of the MMO focus I don't care about, and constant NGJ-style writing.

Back from the dead?

Yes.

You used to these posts about 100 issues ago. Why'd you stop? Why'd you start back up?

I got distracted by the Weekend Boxoffice Chart. Why not?

I stopped reading because of the MMO focus I don't care about, and constant NGJ-style writing.

I like the MMO focus.

The Escapist! When school got more time-consuming and their updates stopped being posted here, I kinda forgot they existed.

I've all but sworn off MMOs but even if every article were about them, I would still find them worth reading. They usually delve deep enough to be interesting.
