Microsoft sends along word that the expansion pack for Zoo Tycoon 2, Zoo Tycoon 2: Endangered Species, has Gone Gold.

Microsoft Game Studios announced today that the highly anticipated expansion pack to the best-selling Zoo Tycoon 2 has gone gold and will be released on October 18. The expansion pack adds a spectacular new chapter to the wildly popular Zoo Tycoon 2, featuring 20 rare and exotic new animals, a dazzling new sky tram, and elevated paths and guided Jeep tours that take players closer than ever to their animal habitats.

Is zoo tycoon 2 any good? I liked rollercoaster tycoon back in the day, but i was like 15 then, so who knows...?
