Red Alert 3 Public Beta Begins...For a Price

YES! We can finally start playing the next installment of the Red Alert series... but wait... what's this? You have to buy something for it?

To get access to the beta, you'll have to scoop up a copy of Command and Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath or the PC Command and Conquer 3 pack. Versions marked with a "C&C Red Alert 3 Beta Key" sticker include a beta access code. Given the budget pricing of Kane's Wrath, it may not be a bad way to get an early taste if you're a fan. The beta is scheduled to run to mid-September.

Errrr, if you already own it then you have the beta access key in the box. I bought my copy of Kane's Wrath on day one and got the key and I'm in the beta now.

I even have the emails about my participation in the Beta from registering back on release.

Not sure how others missed it. A sticker was on the box, and a piece of paper on the inside of the case had the code for the beta.

I think it's a good funny thread. All us guys who bought Kane's Wrath on release have the piece of paper with the code on it and most of us probably already registered for the RA3 beta and have been getting their recent emails to us. We all came here thinking, "wth? yeah, we get it already"
