Seems reasonable enough, but I guess this is still running on Generals engine, albeit with improvements.

I think it's a whole new 'RNA' engine.

Ah, ok. Still, they got a lot of mileage out of that ol' Generals engine.

What! But Evil Avatar himself said no existing piece of hardware could run it :(

Wow, there's a pleasant surprise. My PC can probably run this.
I'd pretty much ruled it out.
Red Alert 2 is still to this day one of only two RTS games I've ever enjoyed, the other being Dawn of War.

Red Alert 3 : New gameplay trailer !!! (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51393&highlight=alert)
It looks to me like something that will require a new computer to run -- no matter what you are running right now.

Using Games for Windows Live?
No idea for certain, but since it's an EA game my guess would be no.

wow thats really low.
That's oddly low spec for a new game. Wonder where the catch is.

It'll probably look like ass if you turn the settings down to a level where it will run on a PC with that spec.
Don't know for sure though. It depends if those are recommended or minimum specs.

Don't forget these are the recommended specs. While it's improved lately, 'recommended specs' still seem to mean 'recommended if you like running games at the lowest resolution and effects, at sometimes-up-to-30-fps' to most companies.

First, try using full sentences, it helps. What do you mean by 'what's new?'? Do you mean what's new to RA3 compared to 2? As far as I know there's a new faction, and a larger emphasis on naval units and battles. I haven't been looking at it too closely. I for one don't like the new art direction.
