The Witcher Official Website posted a new video similar to the ones shown at GC. This one goes by the name of "Storyline," with "Combat" and "Graphics" to come. The video demonstrates three possibile solutions of a simple quest.
Visit the site here (http://www.thewitcher.com/witcher.asp) and direct download the video here (http://www.thewitcher.com/files/storyline.rar) (QT:40mb).
Their PR and I don't see eye to eye, but the game looks solid nonetheless.

He may be Witcher, but can he aspire to be the Witchiest?
Thank you Penny-Arcade for not letting me take this game seriously, at all.

It's amazing how impressive they've managed to make the Aurora engine look, considering it powered the crappy-looking NWN, just by moving away from a tile-based system, and adding in a couple of small things like nicer lighting and pixel-shaded water.
I'm looking forward to it.

Erm, as a polish ambassador here on EA I will try to explain the "Witcher" term.
Witch - "Wiedzma" in polish, a she witch (normal female witch).
Witcher - "Wiedzmin" in polish, a he (male) witch.
It makes sense for me (obviously) and it should make sense for english speaking people you have Sorcerer (male) and Sorceress (female) after all.

Hmmm...witchier than I expected.
Not quite witchy enough, though.

In English a witch is immediately female, and that warlock is the "male witch." He is a sword-fighter, so warlock wouldn't fly.
Anyway it's like Morrolan said, for a top-down rpg the game's unbelievably good looking.

Bah. If the boards hadn't been down most of the weekend I'd have had my obligitory Penny Arcade "You're the Witchest" comment in. Bah!
It looks neat though, wierd nouns aside.
Umm... Witch, Warlock, Witchiest, Whatever...
Looks like that Bad Omen Kain thing that Crystal Dynamics squirted out a few years ago. :p
