BizzarreOnline (http://www.bizarreonline.net/index.php?action=fullnews&showcomments=1&id=56) is announcing a few of the upcoming bands that will be on the soundtrack for Project Gotham Racing 3. There will be over 90 music tracks available.Bizarre Creations announced today that the game will be fueled by music from top-selling artists such as The Chemical Brothers and up-and-coming Indie Rock artists including Death Cab for Cutie. Totalling nine genres in all, including hard rock, alternative and indie hip hop among others, this eclectic mix of popular music keeps the heart pumping on and off the track.

They also mention Bloc Party, Hot Hot Heat, Queens of the Stone Age. Sounds like you'll be able to set the genre you want to listen to, aka GTA style Radio stations.

In related news, IGN (http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/741/741362/vids_1.html) has posted up new shaky cam footage of the game in action.

Wow. Even though that video is dark it looks like a live action shot of someone racing, not really a video game.

Is it just me or did the sense of speed seem a little weak?

Maybe it was just because the player was using the steering wheel cam.

To me the speed seemed fine. However the sensation of speed may be dampened due to you actually being inside the car and not seeing as much road blasting underneath you.

Plus if you don't want that view you can have the traditional eyes to the ground perspective. You would get a better feeling of speed then :)

I actually like the look of the in car view. I like the engine sounds and the way the car seems to bounce a little.

That is the point of view I play from (makes you look at the track/road instead of your car) and it looked good to me.

Holy crap am I getting this game. The engine sounds are awesome!

I already pre-ordered the X360, and it can't come soon enough.

Okay, I like Death Cab for Cutie but in a racing game... WTF?

That video's amazing though.

If this is what you get for, suppossedly, sacrificing 60FP/Sec for 30FP/Sec, then I'm all for it.

The cockpit view in all its glory is one of my main buying points. Haven't watched the video here, but what I saw last week got me all warm 'n fuzzy like I was in an Oleg Maddox game :)

No sense of speed? Are you mistaking NFS:MW?
