The PixelJunk series started off rather weakly with Racers, but many people enjoyed the next game from Q Games, Monsters (and it's expansion, Encore). Next up is PixelJunk Eden, set for July 31st. From VideoGamesBlogger (http://www.videogamesblogger.com/2008/07/18/pixeljunk-eden-release-date-is-july-31-2008.htm):
Sony has announced the next PlayStation Network exclusive game PixelJunk Eden has been given a release date on July 31, 2008. The puzzle game will be available in America, Europe and Japan on that day.

A wildly innovative title that combines the best elements of Bionic Commando and Peggle… with co-op. With its enticing style and music, this upcoming Q-Games developed will include support for PS3 trophies.
Eden looks incredibly interesting, it's definitely one of the more unique looking games out there.

Psychedelic looking games rule! :)

I'm a big fan of the pixeljunk series...I even like the racers...co-op adds intriguing play...ms. Claus is always looking for another game to play co-op so she can kick my butt some more...

I can't wait for this one to come out. The swinging gameplay reminds me a lot of Wik on XBLA which I was a huge fan of. The art style looks great, very Flowish.

This will be very good. I've heard so many good things about the game already. I can't wait.

Will there be a demo? The game looks awesome but I'd like to play a trial version before purchasing.

They've had demos of the past two PixelJunk games, so it's fairly safe to assume that this one will have a demo as well.

Awesome news. I've been chomping at the bit for this ever since I heard about it and that trailer from E3 really got me excited.

And when did PJ: Monsters get an expansion? I hate the PSN store. It's so hard to figure out where things are :(

Came out May 8th. Basically it adds an additional more difficult island.

Protip: Go to Downloadable Games, PixelJunk Monsters, and it'll be there. There may be a genre or platform thing in there somewhere, but it's pretty straight forward. Or, go to Add On Content and it should be there.

I still need Monsters. Great demo, pretty little game, too.

Definitely get it. It's one of my favorite PS3 games. My fiance and I play it all the time, and once you beat all the levels (in the full game and expansion) you unlock a random level generator too! So it essentially has almost infinite replayability.

Really? I had no idea about that. That is all kinds of awesome. I had been taking my time with the game because I didn't want to go through all of the levels and not have anything more to play.

Yeah, it's not perfect, but it's pretty sweet. I didn't know about it either, then we finished the last level on Coop and a little island in the middle appeared.

You enter a 5 letter password (anything you want) and it generates a random level based on it, so you can exchange words to share levels.
It doesn't make custom backgrounds, what it does it take existing levels and remixes the monster waves based on what you input. It's still pretty darn cool though. A very nice addition that I doubt many people even know is there.

The PJ guys are really making a name for themselves. Games like this are why I play PSN on my PS3 more than retail games. Can't wait to get into the right mindset and play some PJ Eden.

Cereally? You just sold me. I might have to look into that. That feature sounds great!

Does anyone know if PJ Monsters supports Remote Play? I just got a PSP, and I'm trying to find stuff that works on both systems. This would be awesome to play on the go.

Indeed, it does.

Works pretty well, too.

I wish there was an indicator that said if it was remote play compatible.

The only thing I found out that you can tell if the game doesn't work is if it says "This game not available for remote play"

PJM was awesome on remote play, but the display was zoomed in a little, so I couldn't see how much money I had, or the current/next waves. Anyone know how to fix that?
