NBA 2K6 Gone Gold

According to a stickied announcement (http://www.2ksports.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=87652&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0) thread on the 2K Sports message boards, NBA 2K6 has gone gold.

Interesting to note is that the game will be released on September 26th for a price of $39.99, which is $20.00 more than last years entry, and 2K Sports other series this season.


Personally, I'm a loyal NBA 2K6 fan, but with NBA Live 2006 getting such high ratings and the increased price point 2K Sports might see less sales this season.

I haven't played 06, But from playing NBA live 05. I've noticed that defense has been slowly dieing out in those games. I like nba2k series better because it feels like a real NBA game, because you can actually lock teams down if you play good defense.

When i play live it feels like I'm on a constant fast break, good game, but the lack of defense kills me. Hopefully 06 has more D.

I'm like so getting this... When it comes out again on the xbox 360. No point in buying it twice. Same for Madden 06, although why buy it at all.

im buying it for xbox, and then suckered into buying it again for the 360......ignorance is bliss ;)
