Issue 11 of The Escapist (http://www.escapistmagazine.com), "StateCraft," focusing on the impact of government on games and vice versa, is now available. Jason Della Rocca, Executive Director of the IGDA, pens the feature article "Salvation vs. Condemnation: The Two Faces of Government," exploring government's love/hate relationship with gaming.

There's a really nicely done article in there where a gaming lawyer gives a really illuminating take on recent gaming regulation legislation.
I didn't read the whole thing though, because of an utter lack of l33t speak. I mean, where's the credibility?

I really enjoyed the article on the military. My father being in the army, I have some different perspectives on this issue than a lot of people, I suppose. I didn't agree with everything the guy said, but I liked most of it and found it interesting.
Plus I just love the Escapist in general. W00T! (That's for you, Justin.)

My God I love the internet. Abso-fucking-lutely loooove it!
I mean I can go to the escapist to read well written ,thought provoking articles, and come back to good ol EA, and read about guys buffing their Wookiee with an SoS pad while having sexual fantasies about John Romero. That is freedom.

Buffing the Wookie? Is that anything like Waxing the Dolphin?
We can say that around here, but we can't say [edited for content by those fucking bastards at the ESRB].
