The folks over at MyGamerCard (http://inside.mygamercard.net/2008/06/30/achievements-for-geometry-wars-evolved-2/) have uncovered the achievements for a previously unannounced sequel to Geometry Wars Retro Evolved aptly titled Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2.

Not much is know about it yet, but it appears the one thing they should have added they didn't - co-op.

Once MGC picks up a game, that means it's been played on the retail version of Xbox Live. My guess is we'll see this launch during E3.

Everytime a game is announced without co-op people complain. It's getting old.

I can't really say that I ever played Geometry Wars and thought, "Wow, what this really needs is CO-OP!"

I loved the first game, but was awful at it. I should just try to get better instead of getting the sequel, but....yeah, I'll probably get it anyways.

Even if this is just a ported version of Galaxies, I'd be happy as I much preferred Galaxies to standard GeoWars. Give it the HD treatment and add a few achievements and you can sell it to me for $10 any day.

When you launch a similar product with it - and then remove it...it's lame-o.
