Iron Man is still out in theaters!?! I should go see it again!
Oh, I saw both Wall.E and Wanted last weekend. I highly recommend both.

Wanted was awesome. Really stupid, but awesome.
I'll check out Wall E sometime soon...just kind of want to avoid the kiddie crowds.

Damn, that's some pretty unimpressive numbers for Wall-E. Sad.

I knew Wall E wouldn't do that well for it's first weekend. But I have a feeling that word of mouth and great reviews will keep Wall E strong in theatres for the upcoming weeks. I have a feeling next time this week Wall E will still be the highest movie for that particular week.
If you like Sci Fi/Robots/Pixar this movie is a must see. If you are easily bored then it may not be for you, The trick to enjoying Wall E is trying to pay as close attention as possible there are so many small things happening that it comes together as something great.
Wall E is one of those movies you leave and can't talk about, at least not for a few minutes, it takes a while to digest what you have seen... It pours on so much emotion.

God I want to see Wall E so bad, but it's not out here until September. And with how people are raving about it, it just makes it that much harder a wait.

I enjoyed Wall-E but, most geeks that were alone for a long time could really connect with the little guy. He was so obsessive compulsive about doing what he wanted to do with the pretty EVE robot :). The reboot sound was just awesome.
I guess there weren't enough Naked Angelina Jolie's in Wall-E for Adam, or was it the Morgran Freeman voice overs that were lacking in Wall-E

I thought WALL-E was ok, a "cute" movie with some heartwarming scenes, was expecting more funnies though.

Hmmmm, sounds like I need to take the kids to Wall-e. Finally saw the new Indiana Jones flick, which was fine. Kinda excited to go see the new Hellboy after the trailer.

Unfortunately this weekend is the 4th of July - and the latest Will Smith 4th of July Movie (Hancock this year) starts tomorrow (with special screenings tonight). I imagine it will probably beat out Wall-E.

Not to disagree with the esteemed fitbabits, but the numbers don't add up. This would appear to be an excellent opening weekend for our little robot friend. All the more so when you consider the competition.
ALL-TIME BEST PIXAR OPENINGS
1. The Incredibles - $70.4M opening
2. Finding Nemo - $70.2M opening
3. Wall-E - $62.5M opening (estimate)
4. Monsters, Inc. - $62.5M opening
5. Cars - $60.1M opening
6. Toy Story 2 - $57.3M opening (1st weekend wide)
7. Ratatouille - $47M opening
8. A Bug's Life - $33.1M opening (1st weekend wide)
9. Toy Story - $29.1M opening

Wall-e opened on par with Monster's Inc. Still good. Not like a Shrek opening, but then again, it isn't filled with music that was popular 6 years ago and references to the Macarena.

Yes, but these numbers aren't adjusted for inflation (http://www.boxofficemojo.com/about/adjuster.htm). So you can easily see it down about 3 slots. Still not a horrible opening, and I'm sure they'll sell more toys than Ratatouille did.

We're adjusting Pixar movies for inflation now? What kind of sad world do we live in?
Wall-E was awesome, and was well worth the rediculous $10 ticket. Someone in an earlier post mentioned how it was one of his most anticipated DVD releases, and I'd like to add: This movie is what's finally making me go buy a BluRay player.

Comics turn into movies, and then they leave out the comic parts (I'm thinkin' the plot, and general artistic direction). I'm talking to you, Wanted. I want a movie made out of Bully Pulpit! Anyone?

I got suckered into seeing Wanted by a combination of surprisingly positive reviews and the director from Night Watch (which was awesome).
Wow. What a horrible, horrible piece of shit. As my friend put it, like an 8th grader wrote a fanfic collision of the Matrix and Fight Club and puked it onto a screen.
Really, one of the worst movies I've seen in a long, LONG time, and I didn't go in expecting anything but a big, dumb movie. It was offensively bad.

I was lucky enough to hear that it was utter shit *before* it came out. Glad I listened. What is ironic, was that reviews and hear-say told me that Jumper was terrible. I rented it when it came out on DVD a couple weeks ago, and was suprised it was actually a damn good movie.
Just the nature of movies to be hit-or-miss like that.

I'm seriously considering picking up a PS3, just so I can watch Wall-E on Blu-ray...

I saw Wanted... I consider it actually a tad above average. It was enjoyable/entertaining. You make it sound like it was the worst movie ever... I can think of dozens of movies that I've seen in the last year alone that are worse than this.
