Oh oh! Monday again. Busy at work so her\s a quick one? What did you guys actually play this weekend? MGS4. GTA4, or some other 4? Age of Conan? Pacman? Tell us all about it right here.
GTA4 (opened up island 3!), MGS4 (new run) and Puzzlequest (with the GF) for me.

Battlefield: BC only as planned. Totally love the MP, it's the most fun I have had on Live in a long time.

I also played Battlefield: BC, only just the singleplayer. I really like it. Some reviews stated the comedy doesn't mesh well with the intensity of the firefights, but I find it to be a good fit.
Also played Puzzle Quest. That game is just awesome. I don't know how many hours I've put into it but it's quite a lot.

I fired up the ol laptop for some Diablo 2!! Exciting times, its so easy to get sucked back into that game again. Only problem is its gonna make me very impatient for Diablo 3.

A fair bit of FFTA2, a bit of Boom Blox, and a little bit of GTAIV. I'm having trouble getting into GTA, because the thing I'm accustomed to doing in GTA first to get to know the city, taxis, ambulances, and fire trucks aren't in this game. I've been assured that as you go on you don't miss their absence, but it's slowed me down at the beginning.

Finished GTA IV. I've been slowly eeking out gaming time during the day again.
Great game. This week I hope to start MGS 4.

Played some TF2, that was about it. I need to let MGS4 fade from memory a bit before I play other games that will invariably pale in some meaningful way. Watched a few demos and I got hung up thinking, "wow, those character models suck compared to MGS4 character models."

Played the first few levels of DMC4 and a couple of online games of Catan on the 360.
Most of my gaming time was spent on my PSP, playing tons of Warhammer 40k: Squad Command. What a great, great game, I wish I had picked this up sooner.

Heroe's of Might and Magic V (PC)

Some more MGS4 and Dota, also played Rock Band and Singstar with the wife. Doing Duets of Tennessee and Opposites Attract are hilarious.
I didn't play anything - I've been at the Fusion Festival since wendsday.

I played a little Uncharted but spent most of my time on Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2. That game is insanely addictive, and I haven't even unlocked half of the characters or items yet. Unfortunately FFTA2 didn't arrive in time to play for the weekend, but I'm hoping it'll show up today. Then I can play that until the DS runs out of power and then run the PSP out of power playing Hot Shots while the DS is recharging. Switch and repeat for gaming satisfaction. :)

Well, I started playing Diablo II on Friday, after the big D3 announcement. I just got to the second chapter a moment ago. On Saturday, I went with my GF to watch Wall-E, which was the best out of the four movies I've seen this Summer (Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and Kung-Fu Panda being the other three).
After Wall-E, we stopped by Wal-mart to pick up some bodywash for her, and as we were leaving I stepped into the Gamestop next door, looking for a used copy of Steambot Chronicles. They didn't have it, unfortunately, but they did have other games I've been looking for. I ended up with Zone of the Enders ($5.00), Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 ($12.99), and Drill Dozer ($7.99). Not a bad haul at all, and they've all been quite fun so far.
Great weekend, besides some shitty allergy problems!

- A big ol' heap of TF2
- A smattering of Diablo 2
- Finally finished Half-Life 2, as well as EP1 shortly thereafter.
- Picked up Painkiller Gold from Steam and am enjoying it immensely. Thanks Yahtzee ;)

I played a lot of "do shitloads of work on the new house". The work on the yard in the 95 degree 3800% humidity Florida heat level sucked ass.
As far as actual games, I got in a bit of FFXI, but not much. I got about 15k xp on Beastmaster in about 2 hours. But, today I get to find out if I won anything in the Mog Bonanza. Come on 100 million gil!

Drill Dozer is an excellent platformer, it's definitely worth more than the eight dollars you paid. I'd also argue that Steambot Chronicles is worth tracking down, as long as you can handle it's glaring flaw: if you're in town on your bot, walking around town takes a long time, and is totally computer controlled. I got to the point where I would read a bit while my bot went from one place to another.

I've made about halfway through Uncharted. That is one seriously gorgeous game. More than a few times I've just stared at the scenery, engrossed by the detail and beauty.

Yeah, it's quite a bit of fun, as you'd expect from a Game Freak title. The store I was in had like five other copies too, so it's apparently easy to find.

I finished MGS4 and was pretty blown away. I definitely need to play through it again in a couple weeks and focus more on stealth. Also played some Shadow of the Colossus as I finally broke down and bought my first PS2 after deciding on a 40 GB PS3. Only 2 colossi down, but I am loving it so far.

Friday I saw Wall-E, which was amazing. After that I just sort of chilled. Then on Sat/Sun I played a ton of Brawl and Mario Kart Wii.
My buddy came over Saturday night and we played until it was time to go so Wanted (which was stupid awesome). Then we came back and played more of the same, slept, then some more Brawl and MKW. After he left around 6:30 on Sunday I got around to playing some more Lost Odyssey. I think I am almost done with disc 1, maybe 3-4 more hours.

Beat the main story portion of GTAIV Saturday morning after being woken by my phone buzzing as text messages telling me that Diablo III was officially announced poured in. :D
Then I proceeded to re-install, and then play Diablo II again for a few hours.
I love the fact that blizzard is moving away from the need to have the game discs in the drive after their new patches. :)

Watched Vantage Point on Friday night. Liked it, but there were just too many flaws to overlook.
Spent the whole weekend working my ass off around the house and yard. We finally get some hot weather in the NW!
Put some time into Hellgate: London - Hated the little overhead strategy game at The Wall. Other than that, I'm really enjoying this game!
Went to see Wall-E with my wife last night. Great film! Like the robots only parts best.
Also had a lot of fun with Allergies: The Snot Spewing Expansion. :p

I seem to be hitting roadblocks in all my games. I took about 5 shots at beating the back to back bosses in NG 2 to no success. I'm also stuck on the 4th mission in Company of Heroes single player.

Nothing but CoD4 for me, this weekend past. A little multi, mostly single. I've completed all but like 2 or 3 of the challenges, got all my gold weapons, etc etc, but I did absolutely shitty on getting all the intelligence in the single player, so I was on a crusade this weekend.
Somehow, I'm still short by 2. I scoured every map and really ramped up my number, but by Sunday evening I was still missing 4. I broke down and googled where there were all at and started going through systematically and got 2 more. But somehow I'm still missing 2 and I can't, for the life of me, figure out which ones. I started over from the beginning and was checking them off of that list I googled as I went through, but apparently there are two in there I thought I had but don't and didn't really go to the right place to get 'em. *sigh* Still, lots of fun trying, but at this point, I'd really like to finish that off.
Multiplayer wise, a so-so weekend, nothing spectacular, though I did play the Killhouse map for the first time with just me and my kid, and I finally, FINALLY! managed to hand him his ass for a change (usually he freaking clobbers me). That was a good thing, heh heh.

As Bad_Buddha mentioned, lots of hot sun this past weekend. Took last Friday off in lieu of a holiday up here tomorrow (Canada Day)...
Ended up biking and then spending time playing GRAW 2(360) on Friday night :)
Saturday...ended up pulling out Guitar Hero 3(360)...finally decided to tackle medium difficulty. I've learned I'm a little more coordinated than I thought...my poor pinky finger :(
Sunday, I watched my German team lose, while downloading mods for STALKER...then I fired up STALKER and finally invested some time into it...3 hours just zipped by! What a very fun game...I can't believe I've let it sit there for months and never played it.
Then, I went back to Guitar Hero 3(360)...and finished the night with some Switchball (360)

I just finally finished Lost Odyssey and hear so much hype about the ending, I was left a little dissapointed. It really was all about the dreams sup-plot and not about the story as the main plot line left me desiring more.
With that said it's still an awesome game. I will try to unlock the rest of the achievements. I'm only missing one bloody Seed which is preventing a LOT of achievements. Then i'll have to finish off the backyard arena. Then I don't know what i'll be playing after that.

Oh yeah, and I helped a friend move.
If you have a friend that's moving, and they have a washer and dryer, make sure the sonofabitch actually disconnects them and drains the water out of the washer.
It sucks having to CARRY a washer with water in it, down three flights of stairs, with no dolly.

H.Bogard posted some in a thread and I just downloaded them...

I also downloaded a 16:10 scope mod from this site (http://stalker.filefront.com/).
I would play for a bit...add some mods and play some more...have yet to add any "sky" mods yet...but so far so good.

I recently picked up a copy of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsitence, and I spent a couple hours this weekend with the MSX original Metal Gear.
Elsewhere, I took down numbers 8-11 in Shadow of the Colossus. No idea why I waited until now to play this epic. Oh wait, it's because I was stuck way the hell up FFXI's ass for almost three years. ;)

i finally finished Blue Dragon. though I will go back to get most of teh achievements late in the year. I might try the DLC as well. I also started playing Front Line Fuel of War. I like the game. Also a few online games of Ticket to Ride for XBLA. I do really enjoy those board games they've put on Live arcade.

Beat GTA IV last night, great game with a crazy last stage. The last two missions were fairly big and I was scared I'd die at any moment--I didn't want to have to start all over.
Today I played a bit of Devil May Cry 4 (the first level and boss) and then I spent the rest of the time listening to Mass Effect. Listening, because besides the first area Eden Prime, there hasn't been an awful lot of action. Lots of talking and traipsing back and forth doing mostly dialog missions, but that's it.
I think I'll get into it more later, since it's not bad, but right now it feels almost too much like KotOR. But then again, it's a console Bioware title, what did I expect? I wish those fuckers had never turned over the console leaf sometimes.

A bit of Ticket To Ride, a few missions in GTA4. On Sunday a few friends and I got together and traipsed over to Game On (http://www.acmi.net.au/game_on.aspx) at the ACMI in Melbourne Centre.
It was a fun little diversion, not a bad collection of retro gaming for 15 bucks. As an actual exhibition, though, it was severely lacking. It tired to do too much and just wasn't comprehensive enough on any particular subject. seeing an old arcade cabinet made by the communists was a laugh, though.

Since July 1st is Canada Day and it's basically been a long weekend here, I'll still count today as being part of the weekend.
I'm on what I assume is the final fight in MGS4. I'd probably be able to just wrap up the game right now except that I'm tired and I have heard that the last cutscene barrage can last upwards of 40 minutes or so, so I'm going to save that till tomorrow evening.
I played a LOT of FFTA2 over the weekend, mostly while at work. Damn, that game is addictive. Hit the Ikea on Sunday and got a bunch of stuff, so I played the "Put The Poang Stool Together" game yesterday and even more this evening. The upside is that I snagged a $3 stool there to use while playing drums in Rock Band, which I did this morning!
I also played a few PSN titles and tried a few more of the weekly puzzles in Professor Layton. I swear, they alternate between being so simple my kid could solve them and being so difficult you need a Masters in Puzzology to even come close to solving them.
