Honestly, any demo that was LESS than 500 mb would surprise me these days.

Okay, I'll admit it... I still need to buy the first one.

I'm pretty sure AoE3 was less than 400mb. At least until you unzipped it. But then they were smart enough not to ship a demo that had half a dozen intro logos and in long intro movie. God I hate it when companies do that.

I've played it several times on several difficulties and still don't know what's going on. It seems to be completely linear and have loads of invisible walls?

Sounds like the earlier iteration to me.

Was the A.I. really stupid (on your side), then fairly smart (on their side)? All of my memories of the original game were of guns that seemed to have the worst sights in history, and teammates who got stuck in almost every piece of environment possible.

Yep, felt like the first one to me too. Still had those knee high walls you can't jump over... I hate that stuff.

It was the worst when you watched one of your team mates jump over them. I had to run all the way around and you just jumped over a wall. That said I'll buy this, just like the original, because I loved the original.
