According to THQ's latest Press Release, Winter Assault is shipping today! Also joining it on the shelves is the RTS of the Year edition.

THQ Inc. (Nasdaq: THQI) today announced Warhammer(R) 40,000: Dawn of War: Winter Assault(TM), the highly anticipated expansion pack to the real-time strategy game of the year, and Dawn of War: Game of the Year Edition(TM) have shipped to retail outlets in North America. Developed by THQ's Relic Entertainment, the Dawn of War series is available exclusively for Windows PC; both games retail for $29.99.

Its already on the shelves in at least one EBgames in the Atlanta, GA area. Installing my copy now.

Arrrrg, my EB Games says its not out until tommorow for us, though they say that Marvel Nemesis is out today so I will be checking it out... They often lie. Furtureshop on the other hand doesn't know shit about their stock!

Well, its 12:30pm here and they still don't have their stock in. The usual for them is about 2pm or 4.... But as soon as I get it (Provided they were correct on their dates, dunno as the Nemesis website says the 22nd) I will report.

*Update* Love Nemesis! For those looking for a traditional fighter I have to say it is not. It is more of a brawler in an enclosed area (The vs mode that is). Story mode is enjoyable, I find a lack of "Training" or a practice mode a bit offsetting as they throw you right in. But you can easily learn what you need to. The characters are unique in their fighitng styles so it can seem a bit unbalanced with certain match ups... But I enjoy a challenge.
