WorthPlaying has a whole bunch of rather tasty screenshots (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=28385&mode=thread&order=0)of Dawn of Sorrow for the DS.
Taking place a year after Aria of Sorrow, the game’s protagonist – Soma Cruz – finds himself at the center of a mysterious cult’s plan to resurrect their evil lord and master Dracula. To save himself and protect the lives of those he loves, Soma must infiltrate the enemy’s home base, a towering replica of Dracula’s castle that is teaming with monstrous creatures. Players’ abilities develop as they collect items and gather experience points by defeating a multitude of gruesome enemies.
Must have?

Release Date: 10/04/2005 (DS (http://www.gametab.com/ds/castlevania.dawn.of.sorrow/3669/))

Absolutely, must have. I've played through Aria of Sorrow 4 times and Symphony of the Night twice. Castlevaniatroid games are the best.

I've been waiting since SotN for them to do it properly. Aria of Sorrow was the closest they've come ... so yeh, i'll be getting this :D

I want a special whip stylus just for this game. How rad would that be?

Oooh, unless this is one of those CVs where the main protaganist uses a futuristic light-spear made of pure will power to kill vamps.

Then I want THAT stylus.

Love all the 2D Castlevania games for the PS1 and GBA.

*Only* thing bugging me is that the character portraits are way to generically anime, instead of the beautiful painted versions of characters we've been used to since SotN.

If it's anything like Symphony of the Night, then it's a must-have.

To this day, I still occationally play through SotN. That game is a classic.

Must have for sure, I couldn't believe how much better Circle of the Moon looked on the brighter DS screen. That lawyer game and that surgery/doctor game could be fun, I used to be quite a terror in Emergency Room 3 for the pc.

A definite must have. Seeing the game is action it looks even better than just in screenshots.

Must have, I lost track of the number of times I played through SotN and AoS. I just want it THIS week, not in two.

The action takes place on the washed out grey looking screen? :/

Yeah the anime thing is annoying, one thing I've heard is the artist who normally does this stuff is way too busy with the new PS2 Castlevania, which sounds odd as they could just reuse the art from AoS in that case.

Aria is the only one I haven't played yet. If this is the case, I must go buy it tonight! :) I have $80 in credit at Gamestop to spend. I'll use the rest of the DS game.

I'll probably be trading something or other in to get it. It's one of the reasons I brought my DS.

This is the only reason to own a DS.
