Metal Gear Solid Kirby?

Yep, yep... looks like MGS news gets wierder with each day.

Masahiro Sakurai is the creator of kirby.

During an additional Metal Gear Solid stage event at Konami's booth that featured a guest appearance by Masahiro Sakurai, Kojima jokingly stated the one of the future plans for MGS is to have the famed creator produce the fifth installment in the series. While Kojima's statement of course was not completely serious, he acknowledged the former Hal Laboratory developer as one of the few great videogame designers still left in Japan. Sakurai is a big fan of the Metal Gear series as well, so while he might not necessarily become MGS5's producer, this still indicates some possibility that he might actually get involved with the espionage action series in one form or another.

What are you talking about? MGS2 had a phenomenal story line. When you find out that the real goverment is actually a fake goverment who's being controlled by the real real goverment which is actually more fake than the original fake goverment and all the people are just computer programs who control the world but not the real world, because the real world is unreally real or something...anyway, we're all being controlled by mice. Bitter, mean, mice with nuclear weapons.

MGS is a joke insofar as Kojima has a pretty out-there sense of humor and throws in some wacky stuff. Beyond that? It's golden.

Now, if they could just get the guys who did "Canvas Curse" to do the next "Metal Gear" -- can't you see Snake sneaking through a security system on an air craft carrier by riding on a rainbow through the air? It would be amazing.

Then, while they're at it, Splinter Celldogs, where you raise Sam Fisher, take him out on walks, teach him tricks and bathe him. It would be an instant classic.
