The Reese Witherspoon, Mark Ruffalo romantic comedy Just Like Heaven debuted at No. 1 with an estimated $16.5 million in ticket sales, bumping the courtroom horror film The Exorcism of Emily Rose into second place.

Caught the exorcism of Emily Rose yesterday, I didn't really mind it, was better then I expected. It was waaaayyy better then that horrible movie with Kate Hudson...wow that was a stinker! Then again thats how I go into movies, expecting shit then your not disappointed. I know 40 year old virgin is still going strong at 90 million, but I honestly thought it would of made more.

Is An Unfinished Life any good? Redford is a man's man, and he can act. Freeman is in it, too, and it looks like a poignant flick. Too bad movies like this always do horrible. It's not mainstream enough, not enough explosions and tits.

I was mildly entertained by 'Exorcism', but I had wanted to see 'Lords of War' and probably will get around to it at some point. But yeah, it's been a blah season. Here's hoping 'Corpse Bride' is as good as it looks.

Transporter 2 was a solid action flick, and nothing more. I think it is a fun ride if you keep your expectations reasonable, but I pretty much think that anything Luc Besson has had a hand in is worth seeing.

I saw Just Like Heaven. It was Just Like I Expected. If you've ever seen a chick flick, you've already heard the tired one-liners and seen the love-filled glances... only this time they're from beyond the grave!

And Ray Bradbury's "A Sound of Thunder" is already forgotten. It's a shame nobody can adapt his work for the big screen.

There was one thing out of everything else that pissed me off the most in Transporter 2.
Durring most of the car chase, you can tell they used 2+ cars. But what really makes it worse, is one car(s) have a W12 in the middle left area of the front grile, while the other(s) didn't. Which wouldn't have mattered except 75%+ of the shots are taken from the front of the car looking back.

I actually found it to be a really funny movie, just because the whole thing was so silly. It was a fun dumb movie though. Make Justin happy and go see it with friends.

Well, that was the thing, the rest of the movie was so fake and unreal - it just made perfect sense. But a simple car chase - please, at least get THAT right... :(

Was Lord of War any good?

I certainly thought so. It was a very gripping, remarkably true feeling movie. It didn't really pander; any T&A existed to drive home just how morally corrupt the chracaters were. I spent the five minutes after leaving the movie theatre saying," Wow."

It's important to know, going into it, that it isn't an action movie. The trailer doesn't communicate that. There were a couple of kids in the front war that were reacting, at the start of the movie, as if it were. That didn't last long.
