ya know, I was playin' it for about an hour. It feels exactly like the first one. I don't like the feeling of the weapons, I know they're lasers but I want the feeling of power in my gun. I just don't feel that in SW:BF 1 or 2. :(

Probably a few hundred at the least.. but fileplanet has a lot of subscribers. Sad to hear this game stinks.. but not really unexpected. In the video interviews I saw they kept saying how they wanted to keep the same feel of the first game. Which made me realize they had learned nothing from their mistakes.

I sort of enjoyed the first game, sure it wasn't great, but its not as horrible as you guys make it out to be.

I enjoyed the first game enough, but this beta is just a bit ugly on the unpolished scale. People need to start realizing they should clean their stuff up a bit if they're going to toss it before the masses.

I'm with you. I got on with a bunch of great guys on Live there for a few weeks and had a blast. I'm to the point now where the community means 10X more to me than the game itself. Once the elitists and exploiters move in, I move out.

Cuase it sure feels like the same old Lucas crap to me! :p

I must say this beta is extremely disspointing. Not only are the graphics noticeably worse than the first game, but the animation is nonexistent and the controls are sluggish. It's like they just took everything awesome about the first game and threw it out the door. The lag is also incredibly bad.

Also, the game rewards the best players by allowing them to play as ridiculously overpowered special characters, such as Yoda, Obi-Wan, machine gun troopers, etc. Not only are these characters next to impossible to kill, but they destroy the balance of gameplay.

Not to mention that some of the normally playable characters from the first game have to be unlocked using 'points', such as EMP launcher and droid-decas. Totally stupid.

Lets just hope these are beta problems.
