Yay for me. First thing at 70: Gruul's Lair. Wow, how lucky for a newly minted, poorly geared Warlock to get in!

...Turns out the Raid Leader was still saved to an old Raid, and everything in the instance was cleared already. No badges, no loot, no nothing.

I am upset :(

Just got my Warrior to 70 a few weeks ago and discovered I'm not a huge fan of him. So, with that, my Druid is now 47 and I'm having a great time leveling him. My Hunter hit 70 a long time ago and I've been wanting to have a pocket healer for a while as DPS is easily overlooked.

Grats on hitting 70! Now the "fun" begins.

I miss my WoW!!!! I was having my druid doing endgame but I'm going to have my enhc sham do that from now on. He's just more fun.

Woe is me, for I am weak.

For over a year now I have been clean. Healthy, tall, full of energy and vigor...Now but a shell of the former self: replaced by an Orc shaman.

WoW threads of this forum are partially to blame!!

Got a 70 priest, Warrior, and Shaman, but not really playing too much lately.

I have a 70 warlock with S1 PVP gear. What I don't understand is how anybody has the time to actually grind for that epic flying mount! I got up to about 1500 gold and just gave up. It was just a huge timesink, and without incentives of leveling, I pretty much lost all motivation to keep playing.

3 weeks clean so far.

Got a lot easier when they added a bunch of dailies to the game and upped the daily limit to 25.

I got my epic mounts just by continuing to quest when I hit 70 for items I needed, and doing a couple of daily quests every day, and the gold just accumulated. Never even felt like I was grinding.

Yeah, I think my problem is that I tend to get antisocial in that game, and rarely get in the mood to find a party for those daily group quests. I found myself limited to just doing the stupid flying egg smashing quest and then logging back out again. I do still have a full quest log, so I should really just work on those I suppose.

You can easily get 100G a day doing dailies.

Just started playing again, haven't played since just after BC came out. Did Kara last night, killed first two bosses, got two epixx lol. Woo Hoo!

Exactly. 100g a day is 50 days of grinding to get an epic mount. That's a pretty painful outlook.

You can easily get 100G a day doing dailies. You can "easily", if a bit time-consuming, manage 300+ gold a day if you max out the dailies available at 70.

Just doing the Isle of Quel'Danas dailies will net at least 200g a day.

They are quite the time sink, but I have to admit, the epic flyers are awesome.

I got my Shaman to 70, ran some raids here and there (only a couple) and found myself really bored.

I'm also one of those antisocial people in WoW. I just don't like to group, nor do I like to raid or PvP really, so I get bored quickly at 70. I was working on an Orc Hunter, as I've always wanted a high level one, but I stopped at 59. I may go back to him...maybe. But lately I've been playing my Gnome Rogue, which is now 42. I'm just taking it easy with him, no pressure and just having fun. I'm guessing, I'll be having a lot of fun PvPing with him and playing him in general. My Shaman is on a PvE server, whereas the Huntard and Rogue are both on PvP servers. I typically avoid PvP when I can, but at least now I know I have a class I can easily handle encounters with, as I'm pretty adept at playing those really annoying stunlocking Rogues :P

The Gnome thing just puts the icing on the cake. Nothing quite as frustrating as getting your ass beat down by a 3' little bastard.

look up the macro for enslaving the felhunters that are summoned in gruuls, it'll help. I think it's /taget demon, but I havent played in about 4 months (still clean)
there are times I miss my lil gnome-lock, but not enough to sink into the game again.

grats on 70!! and the grind for the epics isn't that bad, especially when you hit 70 and become a raider, if you're casual about it and raid 2 or 3 nights a week, the rest of your play time can go to dailies and all those quests you didn't finish that pay out the golds.

i had 3 70's and all of em with epic mounts. i think it took about 3 months to get em all once I set my mind to it.

Just finishing up my 3rd 70. I have my other two 70's running the Dailies for the Shattered Sun. It is a nice way to rake in the money. And every once in a while a nice drop.

If they allowed Horde Deathknights to be gnome, I'd be a happy camper.

Ugh WoW. Me and a buddy powerleveled Warlocks to 70 with a hardcore guild, killed Illidan in 5 weeks of raiding, both got our 4 piece T6 and quit WoW for good.

Threads like this make my skin crawl.

Since coming back to WoW, I've had a lot of fun accomplishing small goals. I made a helicopter, got a netherdrake, caught Mr. Pinchy, and found a baby crocodile in a bag.

I am starting to get bored, though, as I have pretty much ran out of goals!

Arena season 4 starts soonish

So time to get a full set of season 2 gear through the honor system!

I pretty much only play pvp nowadays, I've levelled too many chars and cant bear to level anymore. So I play my enh shammie in the battlegrounds, and do 10 matches of the arena with my roommate once a week(he's also an enh shammie).

Next expansion is a ways off, but looks like it could be pretty nice for my shaman :)

I actually hate PVP outside of Alterac Valley (which I really really REALLY love, for some reason. I even liked it when matches took all damn day to finish). The arena system was implemented when I wasn't playing WoW, and I really don't get it. It seems like team duels, and I don't like that spells in PVE get changed just to balance out arena stuff. I wish that spells just had different effects in PVP and PVE or something.

Plus, I don't really want to spend a lot of time trying to get better gear. I was raiding a few times a week in Kara and have done ZA a few times, but I don't really like the idea of spending so much time to get new gear that I'll replace immediately when the new expansion comes out (which I am pumped for...without it, I would have quit WoW again already). Plus, there are more important things to be doing! Like fishing! ;)

Yeah, I have three 70's. two with epic flyers, and now working on the third. Some people find all the little shit to do boring, but I enjoy it.

EDIT:

heh, I am working on fishing (and cooking) for my 70 paladin right now :) This will be the first character I will have with fishing over 150. Since this was my first character overall, I ignored all the secondary skills (I can heal, I do not need First Aid or Cooking, right?) I just leveled my First Aid on this guy last week :o

That's why us Hordeside players have Gnome rogues on our "must kill" list. (and Night Elf hunters, too...bastards)

Season 4 begins!

kinda anticlimactic as I'd saved up enough honor to buy most everything I wanted... Now I just need some more arena points replace my pants with some season 3/4.
