Rather than playing the next "Mario" or "Zelda" game with a two-handed controller, you will use a device that more closely resembles a television remote control. The wireless unit, using internal sensors, will translate your wrist and hand movements into onscreen actions.
CNN's Chris Morris has more. (http://money.cnn.com/2005/09/15/commentary/game_over/revolution/)
I don't even know what to think.

You could think the exact same things you'd think in the previous 4 news posts.

Sweet, I can't wait to play all the new Nintendo fighting games....
or not at all. Ugh, I think I bought my last Nintendo system. I honestly feel like I've been cheaped on every Nintendo system I've bought since the SNES. I'll probably end up buying the system for the few first party gems further along the systems life. I just wish Nintendo would get some better third party support on their home systems, and I don't see this doing it for them.

Looks like a fresh direction. I cannot wait to see how this works for myself. IGN seemed very honest in their impressions, pointing out the good things and the flaws. As I said before, the possibilities for RTS' and FPS' will be greater on the Revolution than on either of the other next gen consoles. Much like the DS, we'll have to wait it out and see how this all works for ourselves.

At first I just laughed, I mean, come on, picture the unveiling:
"And here it is... the Revolutionary... TV REMOTE!"
{Dead Fucking Silence}
But if you think about it, this controller is fucking brilliant. The sheer amount of stuff you can do with it is incredible. I forsee awesome party games for this system.
I had already declared my steadfast jaded-ness towards the 'next-gen' console systems by stating I would buy none of them. But to be honest.. this has me thinking of maybe getting this system.
