Total Video Games (http://www.totalvideogames.com/news/District_Court_Issues_Take-Two_Subpoena_13340_0_0.htm) is reporting that the District of Columbia has ordered Take-Two to explain why it hasn't complied with an earlier subpoena related to the contentious Electronic Arts takeover deal:
The U.S District Court for the District of Colombia today ordered Take Two Interactive to show why it has not complied with a subpoena and civil investigative demand issued by the Federal Trade Commission.
The subpoena and CID was issued to provide additional information requested in connection with the FTC's review of the EA acquisition offer.
The District Court has confirmed that a hearing will take place on June 24th to determine whether Take-Two is required to comply with the subpoena and CID. The statement claims that if Take-Two cannot negotiate a settlement with the FTC prior to the hearing, then Take-Two intends to oppose the FTC's petition.
