No gun collection could prepare you for Sam's arsenal.
'Serious Sam 2' wouldn't be much without a bigger and better arsenal for our arduous compatriot Sam. Croteam has gone so far as to include fifteen weapons as part of their plan to make both the singleplayer and multiplayer gameplay experience stand out in the overcrowded room of first-person shooters. To give fans an idea of what kind of firepower we're talking about with SSII, 2K Games has passed along a detailed list of weapon descriptions (http://www.filerush.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=11975#11975), 14 pieces of weapon art (http://www.filerushnews.com/gallery/album500), and six new screenshots (http://www.filerushnews.com/gallery/album112).
Here's a snippet from the list:
Hydro-Plasmatic Handgun
Due to the efficient internal workings of the generator, it is possible to shoot smaller units of energy giving this weapon a decent rate of fire. Adding a small amount of carbon into the mix, the
plasmatic shot is attracted to organic matter giving the projectiles a homing feature. Very useful if you want to hit a target which is partially hidden by an inanimate object.
'Serious Sam II' is scheduled to ship this fall with an MSRP of $29.99 for the PC and Xbox.

I figured I'd submit this too since everyone starting talking trash on the SEGA agreement. Hopefully this'll cheer everyone up and make us all happy again.
Release Date: 10/10/2005 (PC (http://www.gametab.com/pc/serious.sam.ii/4047/), XBOX (http://www.gametab.com/xbox/serious.sam.ii/4048/))
