[AOC] - Age of Conan Guilds - Anyone?

So i'm anxious to really dig into Age Of Conan, but i've always had trouble with the social aspects of MMO's (old days of FFXI and Everquest 2 notwithstanding - those were the days).

Anyone out there involved with a particularly social, well organized guild (preferably RP) ?

My character is only lvl 10 as of yet, and i'm willing to start fresh on another server if the guild is there.

And Wiccana is the unofficial RP server, mind you there's a strange amount of talk about videocards in OOC.

There's a guild there, buggered if I can get into it though.

I made a Tempest of Set, it's pretty fun calling down the AOE thunder, even though it starts to get harder as you level. Try a Ranger.

Dont roll on a pvp server with a HoX, unless your prepared to die and die and get killed. :)

I've seen a few Guilds advertising on the official forums. Thinking about a reroll on another server - see what's what.

I love my Conq, I have gotten into the habbit of changing between 2h and DW, then shift-2 to switch to a 2nd bar of combos. So I fire off my best 2h combos, then my best DW combos, and keep cycling, I think it raises my DPS for now, at least until I spec in feats for something.

I have also learned on my caster that X for block is my friend, it won't help during casting, but reduced damage during cooldown is quite nice.

So i killed my Con and re-rolled a Dark Templar (on Cimmeria) - having fun so far - just strolled into Tortage.

Also have a lvl 4 Ranger that i may pick up again.

Almost to lvl 11 with my Dark Templar. Really liking this class. He doesn't seem to be quite as capable in combat as the Con was, but i dig the abilities (though steal life doesn't seem to be doing jack). Recieved an invite out of the blue from a guild called "The Black Hand" which was pretty quiet this morning, but they've got some kind of a keep and such built, which i look forward to visiting.

I also unofficially grouped with some guy (Didn't actually invite or join anything - just sort of helped each other out). Hung back and did crowd control while he killed Flesheaters. Was a bit of fun, lost track of him in a mob rush and he wound up getting killed - sorry about that man if you're out there :)

I'm having an extremely good time with this game. And the new rig is running it extremely well (all settings high, 25-35 fps on average, even in crowded areas).

Just recently hit level 30, and after trying 3 seperate guilds, neither of which were really all that social, and one of which required a little more effort than i was willing to put forth, i decided to start my own ;).

No guild town or anything - Just a loosely knit band of wild rovers looking for a bit of social interaction focused on exploration, informal gatherings (maybe a bit of dueling for loot?) and maybe a bit of grouping for raids, quests, whatever. Role-play preferably, though i'm not against out of character chat. There's not much more to it than that. If the membership grows to any signifigant amount (there's only one member right now ;)) I may put together a website or some ventrillo, and work towards a guild town.

So if you're on the Cimmeria server, the Guild is called "The Freebooters League"

Send a tell to "Asselar" if you see him online and you feel so inclined.

Well...I did. If you look at the threads here about where EVAVers are gathering, Bori is listed as the Euro server of choice. :)
The guild is going quite nicely, very relaxed and friendly, comparatively small and we will soon have our Tier 1 city finished.
