Criterion Games has passed out a 64-second trailer for their current work in-progress 'Black' - an FPS that'll literally blow your friggen mind. The latest footage for the game - which isn't expected to arrive on the PS2 or the Xbox until 2006 - shows our unnamed soldier-like friend unloading an AK-47 into a crowd of enemies, blowing up the pillars of a nearby building up with a grenade, strafing down the steps with ammo flying every which way from his MAC-10, and blowing up an oncoming car with a rocket launcher.
You can check out the latest 'Black' Gameplay Trailer (25.5MB) by clicking here (http://www.filerush.com/download.php?target=black_trailer.mov). Thanks GameTrailers.com (http://www.gametrailers.com/).

The only thing people care about is that it's on PS2, and admittedly, it's really good looking for a PS2 game.

Yeah, I know it's a double post. I did not see the IGN link until a few minutes after I submitted it.
My appologies if you've seen it already, but feel free to download it anyway. :)

The Feds will have a hard time tracking me down while I drift out to sea in my inflatable raft, so even if someone's head does explode… it won't be my fault.

Yes this is a repeat but that is perfectly acceptable considering this a free trailer in a decent resolution and not that low res IGN bullshit.
In other news, GameTrailers.com is easily the best place to get trailers on the internets. While they may take an extra day or two to post things, they always provide both QuickTime and WMP downloads and, just recently, have started to post things at full 640x480 resolution for absolutely free.

I agree. Their videos of in-game reviews are at least 5 to 6x better than the video reviews GameSpot provides. Plus that D&D Online trailer that they premiered recently was simply incredible.

I like gametrailers video review because you can download them for FREE, better than the Gamespot's video streams (which can choke at times depending on your connection). Also, gametrailer's video quality is much better.

What the... no studio in its right mind would release games for a console AFTER that console's successor is on the market.

Am I the only one that thinks this just looks boring?
What's revolutionary about this? I can blow up buildings with a gun?
Wow! LOOK AT ALL THE DUST!

What sounds more profitable? Targeting 2 million 360s, or targeting 20 million Xboxs, 20 million GCs, and 90 million PS2s? This is where the software money is.

Most of those will be relegated to the dungheap of history after the first of the next gen consoles come out.
This is a flawed argument.

It's only flawed to early adopters, techno geeks and console fanboys. The arguement is completely valid and completely real.
NOT EVERYBODY ON THE PLANET IS GOING TO DUMP THEIR OLD MACHINE THE SECOND A NEW ONE COMES OUT!
2 million next gen machines versus 20 million is simple math.

Sony shipped 2.5 million PS1s in 2004. Most stores are still stocking some PS1 Greatest Hits titles. The console transitions are not as clean as you would think.

Yeah this game looks pretty good but like just another FPS, graphics are good though, but the gun animations are ass.
