Yes, we got hit by the Power Outage in L.A. today. Things seem to be fine again now. Crisis over.

I can't believe how much time I spend looking at EA all day long. It was veritable torture waiting for the site to come back online. :)

Update: 1/2 of LA suffered a blackout because a power worker cut the wrong line somewhere, causing a cascade of problems.
Man, that guy better run home and update his resume ASAP.
"Hmmm....red or green wire, I forget?"

"Ah hell."

When I refreshed my RSS feed, and EvAv came up with an XML error, I thought for sure it was the first sign of the apocalypse. Good to see it wasn't. Guess I can stop looting the local stores now.

All the traffic lights were blinking red in part of LA. The police had to send out the traffic controllers, ambulances couldn't get through packed streets, I took the usual shortcut to the gym which turned into a long cut...a hellava mess.
