SEGA has announced a partnership with Petroglyph to develop a Sci-Fi themed RTS (http://www.pro-g.co.uk/news/nid/1448/) for the PC.

Much of the Petroglyph development team are former employees of Westwood Studios, who were responsible for such games as Command & Conquer, Blade Runner and Dune 2. Petroglyph, who are based in Las Vegas, are currently working to complete the widely anticipated Star Wars: Empire at War.

The worldwide deal will see Petroglyph create a Modern Military / Sci-Fi themed RTS franchise exclusively for SEGA, with SEGA managing all marketing and distribution.

Could be cool. I wonder if they will try and make it playable on consoles?

This is awesome. Someone needs to buy them the C&C license back from EA.

Star Wars is ok, but I want an original RTS with military/sci fi stuff. Westwood can do it. It'll be awesome.
