The last time I used a level editor was with the drag-and-drop tilesets for Wolfenstein 3D. Once editors become that easy to use again, I'll bust out my modding skills.

The official site has more interesting information regarding the screenshots.

Bethesda is like the embodiment of everything that used to be right with gaming and development companies. How they survive I don't know, but I hope they have no financial worries.
And thank GOD they have the rights to Fallout.

More than likely beyond my free time/attention span (same thing), but one more reason why I must have the PC version over the 360. Hopefully the user created content will be just as good as Morrowind.
I'm sorta with AboveAvgCharles, I miss the 2D mapping tools of Doom and Duke3d. :o

Yeah stuff like this makes me want the PC version, although I'd prefer the 360 version. Since I spend all day on my computer anyway, it's nice to plop down on my couch and play games on my 40" widescreen with surround sound, especially that now it'll be 720p. And unless I need precision (twitch FPS), I actually _prefer_ a controller. I think it has a superior tactile feel to a keyboard / mouse, and is just more fun to use.
So I dunno. With a game like this, you can guarantee a large community will be making great mods / maps / enhancements, and I don't want to miss out on that.
Decision, decisions.

No kidding. I'd expect they can do great things with that license as well.
Also, I read that mods may be possible for the 360 version to get mods. I read that in the Sep issue of OXM. I don't know how much stock I put in it though...

For being this close to release, there's still a good deal of gray areas left.
The frenzy of info early on has slowed quite a bit, it seems.
Hopefully this just means they're in crunch mode and will have it out this year.
