I'm still unsure about Burnout Revenge. I really don't like the new 'traffic check' dynamic.

Moto GP3 and Da Ali G Show are next on my shopping list.

If you didn't know what it was, here is another hint. H2G2.

Doesn't Advent Children come out this week as well?

I love this Weekly Release feature.

Perhaps you could make it easier to find by stickying them so they stay near the top of the news items forum? Then unsticky at the posting of next week's item?

That's not a bad idea. I'll sticky it in the forums and change it every week.

Battleground Europe: World War II Online? The are re-releasing this POS. How does the old saying go? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

No no, it's "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, you can't fool me anymore!"

I want to pick up Burnout: Revenge this week (trade in Takedown for it, presumably) - but I might wait awhile on it. With Ultimate Spider-Man, Indigo Prophecy, and Myst V coming out also, it's an expensive month, and I'm going to have to start picking and choosing.

Ya, I was pretty surprised too. Didn't they shut this game down for at least a few months at some point?

For anyone interested, Farenheit (aka Indigo Prophecy in the USA) is released this week in the UK. Stores like Game (http://shop.game.net/default.aspx) and HMV (http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/home.do) will ship this to the US.

Also bear in mind the UK kids are receiving the uncut version of the game, unlike the censored version that's being shipped to the over-sensitive US.

EDIT - Note that I'm referring to the PC version only.

Grrr.. I thought I was going to make it through this week without spending a lot of money. Then Saturday I realized that H2G2 was coming out Tuesday.. that I must buy, I really enjoyed the flick regardless of what other people have said.

Now Evil Dead: Regeneration?! Damn you wallet! Why must you have money that I can spend for a change? Well, there goes forty bucks, and I know once I get in the store I am going to find some awesome deals on movies or some such that I just can't pass up.

Evil Dead kinda snuck up on me here, I do not even remember hearing it having gone gold. I was expecting an early winter release or something. Hope it is good, though the last one was nothing special and I still got a kick out of that.

I really want to pick up Burnout, but I'm saving my money for Lunar on the DS. I'm in desperate need of some sort of portable RPG, and Lunar in my book is a no-brainer. And as I just picked up Burnout 3 a few months back, I can probably hold out until a price drop.

And I second that idea for a Weekly Release sticky, but I think it's already been put into practice. Heh.

Not to sound like a moron...but I've never imported a game before. Will I run into any difficulties running the UK version of the X-Box game?

Sorry, I should have stated that I was referring to the PC version only. Modified Xboxes can, however, play PAL games.

That was what I thought. I haven't modded my X-Box though, and I think I'd rather play the game on X-Box instead of PC. I'm not sure the "censored" content is really so much of an issue that I should worry, though. Definitely counting down the days till it hits here though!

Not in America.

I might keep in mind Ali G Show Season 2. Season 1's pretty good, at least most of the time. I'm also interested in seeing Lord of War, but I'll see how reviews turn out first.

YES! Thank you. My birthday present will be a bit late, but I'm definitely hitting this up.

Thanks for the heads up on Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit. As far as i can tell the UK version will of course be on DVD as opposed to the U.S. which will more than likely end up on CDs. Still waiting on the DVD revolution over here. :-/

My pleasure! Yup, DVD-ROM. I really do wish that more games shipped on DVD over here. It's so much more convenient. And it will likely be in a standard DVD case - again, much more convenient.

Oh, shit, huge thanks to Fit once again! I ordered from the "Game" store. I wasn't expecting to get the game for a while, but they just sent me an e-mail letting me know it should arrive the morning of release (read: my birthday)! That's the best present ever! <3<3<3

You're welcome, and happy birthday! Just out of curiosity, how much did you pay on shipping? The reason I'm asking is that I've been charged different amounts on different occasions.

Keeping in mind it was in pounds and I'm horrible at translating currency, I think I recall it being around 3-something. I did go get my total changed to American bucks, and it was around $55, which is just fine with me for a brand new game with overseas shipping.

And the best part is you dont need a modded system to play the real, UNCENSORED game. Why? Because PC's are universal, bitches.

Why does Europe have to make America look like the home of the Pseudo-free and the Brave?

Down with Censorship!

The only region coding I've ever seen on pc games, was the Baldurs Gate 1 expansion, which required me to change my region (in windows) to the US to install. Bizarre.

Also, games from certain asian territories will just refuse to install on english version of windows (but usually not the other way around).
