even at $300, it's a difficult pill to swallow........however, if i already had all the other toys i've been wanting to buy, this would be really awesome to have!

Don't forget the cheaper Buttkicker Gamer, Protocol. For when you only need to shake one ass, not a family of asses. Lots cheaper and more applicable for my PC gaming.

True, but I do all my gaming from the couch, PC included. It looked like that had to be mounted to a chair. Anyone know if the Gamer is still effective on a full couch?

You are correct then. It would be difficult to mount the Gamer on a couch, but not impossible. Still you'd be modding it and it would be best to buy the ready-made solution.

If you have an old receiver all you need is the actual buttkicker unit. You could then power it with the amp from that. I don't remember the power requirements on it but it's not much.

Necro thread time I know, but holy crap! I just got a call from Buttkicker saying I won a copy of CoD4 and I'll get it in the mail in a couple weeks! I'm one of the few poor saps that hasn't gotten a chance to play CoD4 yet, so I'm quite pleased. Thanks for getting this organized Bap!
