A live chat with Heroes of Might and Magic V Producer Fabrice Cambounet will be held next Thursday, September 15th at 18:00 CET. Do not miss this opportunity to get the answers to your questions. The chat will take place on our IRC servers:

If you're not familiar with IRC software, you can easily join the chat by following the steps below:

- Go to http://chat.ubisoft.fr
- Enter a username (whatever you wish)
- You don't require a password

I've been a big fan of the Heroe's series since the first one. The problem, though, is that the best game in the series was the second one. The two long campaigns were just perfect. The thrid and fourth's series of micro-campaigns just never did it for me.

Here's hoping we get back to just a couple of long, really fun campaigns.

I have high hopes.
The engine looks great and they seem to be interested in what the old-school fans think and want. As long as they build off of the first 3 games (4 was very weak IMO) I'll be happy. When you see the game you can tell it's HOMM just in a flashy new engine so I'm really hoping that it turns out good. I won't expect it to top II (which I agree is the best of the bunch) but I'm hoping its on par with III.

Anybody else see the new video? Includes a battle!

yeah, the new video looks great. the gameplay looks quite similar, but the art is quite cool.
