GamesIndustry.biz (http://www.gamesindustry.biz/) has posted (http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=11396) the results of Take-Two's 2005 third quarter financial results as well as their 2006 projections The highlights include the Bully slipping from the fourth quarter of 2005 to second quarter in 2006 while Civilization IV has been bumped up a few weeks to ship in October 2005.
That's a serious bump for Bully that was slated to come out in October of this year. But good news for Civ fans.

If it is early October, I just might pay full price for Civ 2.
Sucks about Bully though. I was really looking forward to that game.

A delayed title is much better then an unfinished one.

This news excites me.
Anyone up for an EvilAvatar Civ4 game on the day of (or day after) release?

I bet you could find Civ II cheaper than that.

Unlike Prince of Persia series, Civ series doesn't reset on third iteration.

I am all over that game like an addicted forum member snorting silicon.
I hope the bump doesn't impact the quality. It's only a few weeks but still... I remember Civ III's graphics/utilisation problems. Play a game halfway and suddenly every turn takes 10 minutes just for the unit animations.
Bully's been bumped so often before it was ever publicized anyway.

My problem with Civ III was more that the enemies spear chuckers killed my tanks. :P Fortunately that seemed to be fixed in patches. Civ 4 should be awsome.

I love The Civ, I really do. But CivIV is possibly the worst looking of the series so far (as a technology capability to GFX ratio).

For anyone who is still playing CivIII, I suggest you check out the Rhye’s of Civilization mod pack for the game. It really does fix most of the rules problems and makes the game run much smoother.
