Sam Stone is back to rescue the universe one bullet at a time against overwhelming hordes of time traveling enemies in Serious Sam 2. Built from the ground up with a completely new engine, Serious Sam 2 will be a shot of adrenaline to the hearts of first-person shooter fans across the world.

Picking up where Serious Sam: Second Encounter left off, Sam has rocketed off towards the conquered planet of Sirius, the new home of the notorious Mental. While en route, the Great Wizards Council of the nearly eradicated Sirian civilization telepathically contacts Sam to aid him in his quest to destroy Mental and help restore Sirius. He is then sent on a quest to find the fragments of a mystical medallion scattered throughout the galaxy that will bestow Sam with the power to defeat Mental.Check 12 new Serious Sam 2 screens (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=28073) over at WorthPlaying

Serious Sam was probably the most fun I have ever had with a FPS. Just balls out action the whole way through. I hope this one lives up to its name.

Looks pretty good, I wish the gun textures were better.

I been playing it for the past few days, and while the start seems a bit slow, it surely picks up after 10-15 minutes.

You see that screenshots with the big mechanical spider? Well thats not even a level boss, and there's several others spawing all around you ...

crazy fun!

I noticed that, too.. those do too "clean" compared to the older games.

Second encounter was like that, you start in the desert miles away from the temple then you run into it and only a few enemies appear. Then it starts to amp up the dificulty.
