2K Games sends along word that they will be releasing a multiplayer demo tomorrow for their upcoming tactical combat shooter, Vietcong 2. (http://www.2kgames.com/index.php?p=games&title=vc2)"The demo contains the Capture the Flag, Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch modes, and like the full game, servers can support up to 64 players simultaneously, with full RPG-style experience for all players (which unlocks new classes on both sides as you earn experience)."

If this optimize the game this will be a very cool game, ive read that if you pirate the game that bullets dont work well but then i did purchase the game as i usually do for all trying before you buy mentality that i uphold. I think the biggest problem with the game is that the bullets need to be realistic. If i shoot a guy in the chest he is probally going to die very quickly if not then at the moment. In the game i would have to nail a guy sometimes five times, that is insane. Secondly i feel they need to work on making it somewhat easier on the single player part like making bullets more realistic, i dunno i geuss im complaining about that the fact that the game is not very easy because in my head i find this as design problems that hinder enjoyment of the product.

Actually the first burst of 3-5 just puts a person down, then you fire the shots that kill them. They may die from the first birst, but its not fucking james bond, death takes a little time. Unless you get lucky.

Out of all the Vietnam-era FPS games that popped up in the last few years (thankfully, far less than the WWII-era ones), I really enjoyed Vietcong the most.
I've played a lot of games, but Vietcong, even with all its flaws, really got the mood just right. Creepy jungles, gung-ho Anti-commie-bastard Big American Grunts, and tons of suspense/fear.
Play it without quicksaving--especially the tunnel levels. Wow... I dunno how my father made it.
Anyway, will try this out...
