Gamecloud has posted an interview (http://www.gamecloud.com/article.php?article_id=1350) with Josh Druckman of Brainbox Games, talking about their upcoming movie based zombie action game Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler’s Green.
Gamecloud: What other unique gameplay elements will the game have?
Josh Druckman: The zombies have decent hearing so it’s important to be as quiet as you can. For example, if you start shooting or trip a car alarm, more are sure to come. They will come from anywhere and everywhere; they will climb over fences, squeeze through large cracks in the wall, crawl out of holes in the ground and break through doors. There are also corpses lying around, and many of them are just half eaten people. However, some will get up and attack you if you disturb them, so it’s best to avoid them or make little noise. Another cool thing is that when you die, the zombies will feast on your body. When a bunch of zombies see your body, they will huddle around it, tearing out bloody chunks and go to town. It’s pretty gross. Personally, I enjoy using the Molotov cocktail to set zombies on fire. If you plan it just right, you can set one zombie on fire spread it to the others. It’s sick but fun.
