Disciples II was a gorgeous title with solid turn based gameplay, and it was summarily ignored by the PC gaming masses. Hopefully it will find success on the DS.

I'm completely stoked, this is a damn good game, and I can see myself nailing hours away on it on the ds.

Disciples II was fatally flawed by forcing you to essentially play the same army mission after mission if you wanted any hope of winning. Developing more than one or two super-armies spelled certain defeat.

That said, it was fun for a good while before I got bored of stomping the enemy with my super-army.

the art in disciples II was superb, I have never seen such beauty. gameplay was OK, but the graphs of chars, that was the thing that hooked me up on that game.

I agree wtih frogleg, this was a title that not many in the US picked up on, but it was far from ignored. A title that was ignored by the masses would not have gotten 3 expansion packs released and a sequel in development. As a side note, those who like the art style may notice similarities with the art design in Prince of Persia: Warrior Within... it's the same guy.

I missed this completely on PC, but I might just pick it up as I need a few quality titles to go with Animal Crossing DS when I buy my DS.
